Good Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1,  The Service Award event that I had planning since the day I was hired went off without a hitch or a wrinkle last evening and everyone was thrilled.

2.  My father-in-law is in a new Long Term Care facility as of last evening, and God willing this will be a much better place for him.

3.  My faith in God and the lessons that I continue to learn.

Love the quote, but can't I just take a cruise?  That would be so much more fun!

Today I am thankful for....

1.  Coffee as without it I would not be up and sitting here facing a long day.

2.  Extra strenght tylenol as I am hurting today and I have no one to cover me for this day or anyday as a matter of fact at work.

3.  That God will get me through this day even if has to carry me.  He is always faithful.

Today I am thankful for. . .

The time my dad had yesterday were he was his old self and he approved of the things we had done to protect their assets for my mom and take care of him.  By the end of the day he was confused again.

For my DH who is such a great deal of support.

For all of you who are also a great deal of support.

Pumpkin Spice coffee - even though it spilled all over me

Flu shots - because I have not gotten sick yet. *knock on wood*

Fall weather - it's finally arrived and I got to wear a coat today.

Today I am Thankful for:

A fun and informative support meeting last nite; our 'leaders' take such ribbing from me and I so appreciate their friendship

A chance to talk with 2 new Richmond WLS patients last nite; they remind me of me 12 mos ago...and I never want to forget where I started

The 'family' atmosphere here in Cali world; we laugh, we cry, we struggle, we love, support and encourage each other...no family could ask more ^_^

Being included in this 'family'...you all are PRICELESS!

Today I am thankful for;

-An interesting life where there is too much to do instead of not enough to do.
-The asparagus I had a lunch no longer being stuck in my teeth
-The awesome October weather we get on the central coast and silicon valley
-A somewhat mellow work day

Barb, I hope the new facility will be good for your FIL too.  It is so hard to see them decline.  I have decided I am not going to get old.  I am going to stay 51 forever.  (Only a thinner 51!)
