Good day all,

Well its Monday and the beginning of a new week. Hopefully everyone ahad a great weekend and took advantage of the great weather we had. So its that time to tell everyone what you did today to Move to Lose....And remember every little thing counts......Window Shopping at the Mall, chasing the dog, playing with the kids. As long as we keep moving.

For me it was a first today. I did the walk on my treadmill but instead of the normal 6% incline I bumped it up to 9% and it put me in the endurance mode. I am going to pay for this one but I got a mile in before I had to stop. Now im going to be the nice house husband that I am and going to mop the floors in a few. Hopefully the wife will appreciate it LOL

Have a great day all..........Rick

Hi Rick,

what a nice hubby!  I am sure she will appreciate your work.  I was able to get in a mile this morning.  I will try to do some more this evening.  I do have to tour a plant his afternoon there will be some walking (not sure how much).

I need to get some more water in before 12.  Better hurry up and start sipping!

Managed to get in another 1.5 miles this afternoon-pushing a stroller.  The weather is great, we sang song and walked along.

Hi Rick and all,

During my time taking care of my mom 24/7 after her surgery, I didn't know how I was going to work out, but I found an exercise channel on her cable and there were many low impact aerobic stations to choose from. I ended up working out most days I was with her.

Today, I have a 12 hour work day and I didn't get my butt up early enough to work out. Tomorrow, I am walking for 30 minutes at lunch.

Take Care all,

MsBlues

Try alternating the incline, walk for 1-2 minutes at the 9% incline then go back to 6% for a few minutes.  Repeat this cycle over and over and you'll burn more calories over the length of your entire entire workout.

Put me down for four miles after work today. :)

Ummm, nope!! After being up for 34 straight hours (saturday-sunday), I slept for about 11 hours last night (with the help of Ambien) and vegged today.

Hi Rick,

Well I have not done any type of exercise since the LB Marathon.  I have been glued to the TV with all the Post Season baseball games.  Now that my Angels are done for the season I started back today.

I walked my regular 1 mile tonight and I plan to walk a minimun of 1 mile every night this week.  Maybe if I get a little more energetic I may add a 2nd mile.

Have a good one.
