Hi MoMo and Cali,
I will say a prayer for your friend, good friends are hard to find (really good friend can tell you like it is).
Today I am back on the road. I was able to get home early and got to take a walk with Ms. V. It was a beautiful afternoon! Got Ms V and DH out the door just a few minutes ago. He could not find his keys! left them in the car (my car!). Thank god it was still there, we don't have any problems in our neighborhood but you never want to tempt things.
Everyone have a great day.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!
We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they
ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Happy Tuesday Everyone,
MoMo, sorry to hear about the trials and tribulations that your friend is going through. I will keep her in my prayers. You are such a good friend. You will be blessed to have helped out.
Cali, not much going on with me today. Last night , I picked up my Garmin GPS from Walmart. I am so excited. California has a law that states that nothing can be placed on the windsheild that will obstruct the driver's view. So, I have to put mine on the dashboard. No problem. I am going to charge it up today.
I bought a table (rubbermaid) from my job for $15. I figure that I would be useful for my crafts or to organize my soon to be sold candle making stuff out of the way. I will have to pick the table up tomorrow. You know what that means... I will be driving "Baby" to work.
I just made my annual appointment for a saggy sock smashing appointment. Yayyy!
Oh well, enough about me.
More love and Peace,
Kimmie

Without struggle, there is no progress.
Morning MoMo and Cali gang
MoMo...friends like you are sooo hard to find. You know the kind...one you can trust who will not pull punches just to avoid hurting your feelings...the one who will stick with you thru thick and thin...the one who is there when no one else is...sounds just like YOU! You and Diane are out of the same pod...and I admire and respect both of you soooo much!
You and your friend are in my prayers...Dementia of any kind is so difficult to deal with :-(
Today is more work, although the load is considerably less than it has been. Had a good time at support meeting last nite...a great discussion on lap band vs RNY vs Vertical Sleeve (?). A new gal came with questions but was pretty set on lap band and her surgeon (who happens to be MY doc) wants her to have RNY. When I first started going to this group, I was the only one from Kaiser Richmond, almost all were from Fremont; we are starting to get more Richmond patients so I don't feel so 'out there'. The 2 facilities have such different protocols, it was hard for me to identify with the other attendees. I'm now considered the 'old timer' for Richmond (I'm only 7 mos out for crying out loud!! How much do I know???) and supposedly can answer ALL questions...NOT! Even the support leaders look to me for answers as they are both Fremont patients LOL I've told them they should attend a Richmond Orientation meeting...just to get a feel for what is being told to new patients.
And btw...I've decided to find the money...and BUY THE BOOTS LOLOL Thanks for everyone *****sponded...you all swayed me to take a leap of faith and get them ;-) My next pix will be of my leg in a cast...I haven't walked in heals in Years! ROTFL
Well, time to get back to work...boss is out of the office for the week..so I have to motivate myself to stay on task...so easy to get 'distracted' when no one is here to interrupt my schedule ^_^ Have a great day friends...and Northern Cali...don't stand under any trees today!! Winds up to 50mph...trees are gonna fallllllllllll :-(

My prayers go out to your friend to MoMo. It is so hard to see our parents get old and then die. I really hope she gets on some antidepressants. They really help me. I know you worry about the drinking.
Well today I am spending the day with my grandson. He parents are going shopping in Fresno. I am looking forward to his coming over. He makes me laugh so much. He is just so darn cute!
Diane have a great time away.
I hope everyone has a great day!
