revision after rny 6 yrs ago
I had a gastric bypass March, 2003 and lost 134 lbs. I kept the weight off until the past 2 years. i am interested in a revision, does anyone know about approvals for a revision with blue cross insurance, i currently live in northern california. any response would be greatly appreciated as i dont know where to begin.
Hi Rebecca, I do not know where you should start except maybe with your original surgeons office? Otherwise, I heard there is a Rose procedure for people who have already had the Gastric Bypass.
Wishing you the best of luck and hope that you get more responses that will give your more inforamtion than I did.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they
ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Have you tried getting back to basics and getting on track again? Have your tried the 5 day pouch test to kick start you again? Have you been tested to see if your mechanics are still working correctly? Revisions are big steps when sometimes we just need to start all over again....and yes, I have some regain also.....it happens....but we can beat it....
