Good Morning Cali Crew,

It's been awhile since I posted for WWW.  For the past 3 weeks I've lost 13 pounds. I am happy with this considering the lack of exercise and all the stress involved with two emergency room visits and surgery for my mom those past 3 weeks. I need just one more pound to hit the 80 pound weight loss mark. Woo hoo!

I am finding the time to exercise to be a challenge. Working a full time job with a 2 hour round trip commute doesn't leave much time. Sometimes I eat in the car to find the time. I guess I just have to go my best.

Take Care all,

MsBlues

Hello,

Today puts me at minus 2.8 lbs.  As I approach the 100 mark Im getting anxious but its been fast so I need patience lolz.    How is it that I could lose this much and still weigh more than most linebackers on professional football? lolz   Ya I know Im so positive!   I'll get there.. I know I will :)  somedays it just can't be fast enough though :)

Hugs to all and thanks for all of your continued support!!!!

Jackie,

I say the same thing to myself. I am one pound off of an 80 pound weight loss and say to myself, but I am still so overweight!!!!  It's hard not to think that way.  I had my surgery before you and I am in awe of you almost losing 100 pounds. You're doing great. I know my almost 80 pounds is great too. I am going to try to not compare myself to linebackers or focus on how overweight I still am.  You're right staying positive is important, but I want it off now!!!!!

Take Care,

MsBlues

Good Morning Chris and Cali Gang -

I am happy to report that after 2 weeks of a stuck scale it finally moved.  Put me down for 4 lbs. gone.  Although the scale did not move, if I were to take my measurements I would defenitley see inches slipping away.   YAHOO!!   62 lbs. gone, never to be seen again!!!

Happy Birthday to Willa and Dolores.  May you be blessed with love, peace and friendship.

Welcome Leslie to the Cali Forum.  You will find a ton (no pun intended) of great gals and guys here willing to help and offer support for ANY LITTLE THING you may need.  Everyone here is just awsome.

Michelle - Prayers are being said for Baby Audrey, and your family.  May she begin to feel better soon.

Jackie - WOW you are closing in on 100 lbs.  THAT IS JUST AWSOME BLOSSOM

Today I packed up 3 large flat rate boxes to be sent to Afghanistan where my nephew is stationed.  He should have his goodies just before Christmas.  If anyone would like to send a package or contribute to a package which is distributed amongst the soldiers at Camp Spann, they are all welcome.  Send me a PM and I can make arrangements to pick up etc.  Packages take 45 days to arrive and if something is sent now, it will be received by Christmas.  God Bless Our Military.

On another note, I just spoke with a lady that runs the Child LIfe program at Miller Childrens Hospital in Long Beach.  I am taking collections for gift items to be donated to the Child Life progarm for the Christmas Holiday.  If you are interested in donating, again, please send me a PM and I can forward you a copy of the letter for the wish list of items they would like to have as gifts for the cancer patients ranging in age from infant to young adult.  Any overflow is shared with children that end up in the hospital during the holidays.

Thank you all in advance for your support.

Annette

Good Afternoon,

As I sit here in a really nice hotel room with a recliner for my sleeping, I am thinking about how busy and cranky I was this morning.  Boy am I glad that was over.  I went downstairs before we left and I went out of control on my dad and Doug.  What the hell, I think I live with two pigs, not two grown men!  So after screaming, getting out bleach, mop, among other cleaning stuff, and doing the work, we left.

Now we are here can't wait to see Dougie testing wines and guess what.  I will be driving for the first time in almost 3 months.  Doug will have to give me the keys.  So I will lay off the pain meds, and we are here for a few nights and going to have a good time, we will or I will get cranky again,

My nurse brought in the scale to weight me on today, but I didn't do it, I had just got my uggs on and a huge heavy sweatshirt....I really wanted to weigh, but no way Jose.  So next week.  Also he was having trouble packing the wound, because it's almost closed....YEAH!!!!!  That means, pool therapy.  I can't wait till I no longer have to be sitting around waiting for the nurse to come or getting infection in the open wound.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day.  Delores, Have a great wonderful birthday,  Make it great.  Also I can't remember, is it Keem, I hope that your house gets closed.  Michelle the best place for the baby is the hospital.  I a not getting a H1N1 shot, it's the flu, not going to worry about it.  If we all take our vitamins like we are supposed to and wash our hands we should be ok.  Hand washing is one of the more important thing.  Very important,  So everyone take care of yourselves during this flu season extra careful.

Hugs, Diane
