Good afternoon all,

Well its that time of day again to tell us all how You Moved to Lose today and just remember every little bit counts as long as we just keep moving.

For me I have already been on my treadmill trying out what the fitness trainer at my wifes Lighten Up class said to do. I started like normal but kept changing the incline and speed. He said to mix it up a bit so our bodies dont become complacement. Seem to work but I kept getting interrupted by job calls (trust me im not complaining). Looks like I have a good shot at a hospice nurse position....... Filling out the paperwork now.

Hopefully the wind will die down a bit and we can do the walk in the park tonight. Had to cancel last night because of the wind. This will be the last chance for a good walk for a few weeks because of having some minor surgery done on Friday to my toe......OUCH !!!

Have a great day all.............Rick

Had to cancel last night (ok...I didn't HAVE to, but I chose too!) because of the wind too!  It was terrible out there!!!
Going to make up for it tonight.....have a 45 minute run to do!  It's going to be interesting.  Coach Scott is wanting me to  switch from 2 minutes of running up to 3.  He insists that it's mental and that I just need to get over it.  I much prefer running harder for 1-2 minutes with a short walk break, than running slower for 3 minutes.

Hi!  Okay I walked up our hill (more like an incline) which took about five minutes but had me wheezing.  The wind out here is really blowing.  Also I vacuumed half the house and did some dusting - does this count?  Also I wanted to ask.  I am a week and two days out from my surgery.  I was wondering if I could go to the gym and walk slowly on the treadmill.  Do you think it would be okay or should I wait and ask my doctor when I see him next Tuesday?

Hey Rick ^_^  Hopefully you are heading out to the park as I type to get your evening walk/run in LOL

For me I have already climbed 3 sets of stairs..crazy built building...I only went from floor 2 to floor 3 but there were 3 separate sets of stairs..LOL Anyway, went up and then went down...now I'm out the door to walk the dogs..should be around 2 miles if I don't freeze first.  Wind died down and now the air temp has dropped also...burrrrrrr...what happened to my 'padding'???  I never suffered from the cold before LOL

I did 30 minutes of indo-row.  First time I did that, it is a new thing at my gym.  It was fun.

I put 13mi. on the bike today....I need to get back to my 15mi pace.  I'm just about over this stuffy nose, so I should be back to 15-16mi in no time.
