OT: need math help again....algebra
When I was in high school, (70-74) if one wasn't in college prep courses, they did not have to take any math classes past 9th grade (Freshman year), in Arizona anyway. I was not college bound in those dark ages, so I opted out of upper level math...therefor, I suck with numbers! If I want to get my Bachelors or even AA/AS, I have to take 3 semesters of entry level math JUST to get me into college level algebra. I opted for college certificate nursing and a few other certificated courses of study but no "real" math courses for me. I keep telling my kids who are in college, ..."hey, tutor me in the "new new math" cuz I never learned the " old new math".lol
I envy you numbers people!
good luck..you'll get it all down!

Ok..I know I'm late on this one. Is it still too late for your question? Ok, it's been well over 10 years since I took College Algebra and Calculus for Business. So ask away...I hope I remember!.....
By the way, whenever my brother has a math question we can't solve, we always log onto Youtube.com and type in key words. You'll be surprised, there's a whole bunch of information on there where professors will demonstrate how to solve a problem...Pretty cool stuff!
