MODERATORS: Set things straight, please!
OK, OH Moderators:
What is the truth?? I'm speaking as one who is worried about getting this "virus" that de-activates accounts here.... you must know the truth... is this possible?? And, if so, what do we do to protect our computers from this "jogen" virus that de-activates only OH accounts??
Also... how did Michelle AND this new person "Becca" get de-activated on the very same day?? Is that a result of this virus?? Or, is there something fishy with those two accounts?
Moderators...you know the truth, I'm sure... what is going on here? Are we safe, virus-wise?
Or, was someone pulling some kind of trick (not funny), and making up the "becca" persona?
Thanks... we all will appreciate your setting things straight.
Lori

This is unfounded; there are no OH Account Delete specific viruses.
Regarding general computer protection, we always recommend utilizing normal web safety practices such as running anti-virus software (and keeping it up to date). Additionally for account security, other tips we advocate are: changing your password on a regular basis, not sharing your password with anyone, and if you suspect your password has been compromised – making sure it is changed right away.

Thank you for your response.
I, too, do not log off OH each time I close the site, but have the computer "remember me"....
Thanks for the advice of changing the password often, this i do NOT do, and I think that would be wise to do in all of the websites that I frequent.
thanks again for bringing clarity!
