One more reason not to drink soda

Just an FYI..

Carbonation depletes calcium
Beverages with bubbles contain phosphoric acid, which can severely deplete the blood calcium levels; calcium is a key component of the bone matrix. With less concentration of calcium over a long time, it can lower deposition rates so that bone mass and density suffer. This means that drinking sodas and carbonated water increases your risk of osteoporosis.

Add in the caffeine usually present in soft drinks, and you are in for even more trouble. Caffeine can deplete the body’s calcium, in addition to stimulating your central nervous system and contributing to stress, a racing mind, and insomnia.

Thank you so much for posting this.  So many new people keep trying things they used to do, this is just reafformation not to do sodas.  I have seen newbies with plates of food I can't even finish, and they were like 3 weeks out, some never will learn.  I am glad I do not partake in sodas.  I have had sips, but it sure made me feel crummy, so I just never did it again.

Also I need to take care of that other thing we spoke about, do you need my number?

Hugs, Diane

Thanks for the information.
I just wanted to add that during a bariatric surgery reunion that I attended the first weekend in October the surgeons talked about carbonation and two things they said...
1)  The carbonation will expand the pouch and if you want to see how just put a balloon on top of a bottle of coke and shake it
2) Soda tends to disolve sutures
Hugs to all

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Coke can also clean your toilet bowl, (that's the truth)  Guess you are a real potty mouth then if you happen to drink coke.  I just prefer not to do anything with bubbles.

Hugs back to you Terry,  Diane
