Today is the day we post our weight losses (or whatever) . . . for all you newbies out there, I'm tracking the groups progress for the year, and we post the results on Thursdays.  So give us your numbers - good or bad -  give us your NSV's . . . and have a great day!

I went for a fill last week . . . but gee . . . she couldn't hit the port . . . well not exactly . . . she wa****ting something . . . and was going to send me over to the hospital for some test with dye and floroscopes . . . could be my tubing has a leak and I'm empty . .. could be my port has flipped . . . could be she just couldn't get me . . . even the doc had trouble the first time.  Bottom line, I'm not doing the hospital test at this time because it ain't in the budget and you know it's gonna cost . . . and since I'm pretty flat with weight . . . I'll wait until Dec when I have an appointment and the doc will try to acces the port . . . could be a whole lot cheaper than any hospital test.  If it is empty . . . then yea for me . . .I've been holding on all by myself . .. we shall see.

I have not been around much, although I have tried to keep up with what is going on from a friend. My lap top got sick. (It treid to drink my coffee one morning) and I could not remember my pass word to log in. As you can see, figured it out. Yah me..

This weekend I have a run coming up here in town at the Mission Inn. Its a nice run, and lots of fun. Since my doctor has not cleared me to run, I will be walking, most of it. I never thought I would say this, but dang, I miss running. A fee years when I done this race, that "party" after is lots of fun. The weather seem like it will be nice also.

OK time to get moving, we are having a pot luck and I need to cook something. UGH!

Good Morning Chris and Cali Friends,

Chris, sorry to hear about your experience with the port and hope it goes better in Dec.  I know you're doing fantastic though with or without and I'm really proud of you.

Please put me down for 2.5 lbs lost this week.  I am 2 lbs from "onederland" and so close I can taste it.  I told Ron the morning that happens I'm gonna scream and he's gonna get shot out of bed like a cannon!  LOL  You'll probably hear me down south and up in Redding too! 

Today brings work and things are starting to move a little slower (thank goodness) and I don't feel like I am drowning in a cesspoool.  OMG for a while there I thought no way one human can handle it all, but it's slowing down a little and I'm not drowning.

This afternoon my mother-in-law, Isla, Ron and I will be checking what I hope and pray will be the optimal long term care place for my father-in-law.  Please think good thoughts, swing chickens or say prayers.  Such a hard decision to begin with but when places look great on the initial tour and then turn out to be pigstys or the care in substandard you have to start from scratch again.  So praying for guidance on this one and I know God hears and will answer in due time.

Good Morning Everyone,

Chris I stayed the same this week. I will take it, better then gaining again.  Just 2 more days and I move into my house. I so can't wait. I still have so much to do there, but right now I feel so disorganized, with everything in boxes, and all over the place. Not that the house will be much better once I get in there, but at least it will be mine. I hope everyone has a fabulous day, must run and finish getting ready for work.

Good morning Chris and Cali Crew,

Well at least my internet and stuff is still working today....Hopefully it stays that way. Chris, put me down for a 6 pound loss this week. This is the biggest loss I have had in a good long time. I guess not being able to eat much is helping some. Still fighting a little bug or something I think. Have had an upset stomach since Monday and running a low grade favor but this too shall pass.

Today I start the training to become an OH Support Group Leader...... Really looking forward to that.

Good morning Chris and all of Cali,

Lovely day out here in the IE.  Pretty clear skies over the mountains made for a lovely ride into work.  Not that I work all that far from home.  OK, it's only 7 miles, but I still have to drive it.

Saw the new allergist yesterday and wow wow wow is all I can say.  He says we do have alot of work to do, but he gave me a couple of cortizone shots and I feel so much better already.  No antihistimines for a week though and I was very nervous about that.  But between the cortizone and the new asthma meds I seem to be good.  Next week it's allergy testing time.  I told him we don't really need to do that.  My allergies are simple....if it grows, is covered in dust and has fur, I'm allergic to it.  Guess he wants to find out for himself though.  LOL

Oh well time to get busy here.  Hope everyone has a super terrific day and be sure to do something wonderful for yourself.

Good Morning everyone!!

I am so tired this morning.  It was very hard to walk to work this morning.  I finally heard from my worker yesterday and I found out that I have to go back in and start a new Medi-cal application all over again.  I may break down and just go to the hospital and get something.  I know that Walmart has a low cost prescription program but I don't know if pain meds are on it.  I may have to ask my mom or someone to help me get the meds.  Hopefully, this will tide me over until I can get everything up and running again.  I have an appointment on the 17th to see my worker.  Hopefully, they can get it going again fast.

Nothing planned today except for work.  I am supposed to go to church tonight but I don't know if I am going to make it or not.

Barb, I hope you can find a nice place for your father-in-law.  I know it is hard to do, yet so important.

Elieen you will probably lose extra this week because you will be moving and that is hard work.
Chris sorry about your port.  Did she keep sticking the needle in?  That had to hurt.  (I don't really know about the band)
