Greetings everyone,

Well its that time to tell us how you "Moved to Lose" today and just remember that every little bit counts as long as we just keep moving.

For me today all I really can do is work my upper body and my abs. Im praying that they take this stupid make shift cast off my foot and the stiches out so I can get walking again. Have some things that I want to try out but cant with my foot all messed up.

Hope to see a bunch of you guys at the Tom's Farm event this weekend. I am really looking forward to this outting.

Have a great day all............Rick

Yep I did! I did!  Went and walked by myself around the office block twice (27min) which equaled 1.2miles.  I am determined that I will walk the dogs for at least 30 minutes when I get home tonight ^_^  I am back in the game! ;-)

I am so excited to post this today!  I went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the treadmill.  I wasn't breaking any speed records but did like .84 of a mile and got up to 1.8.  I am just stoked I got off my butt, out of the house, out of my head and in the gym.  It made a huge difference in my attitude!

CONGRATS on the accomplishment Leslie. This is one of those WOW moments with tons more to come. Just remember not to over do it. Dont let those guys at the gym push you to hard. If you felt good at that pace, then stay there for a few days and then beef it up next week, and then again...........Watch what happens.

I went from barely being able to do 10 minutes on my treadmill fresh out of surgery to over an hour at 8% incline at 2mph.......Stand by to stand by.....LOL

Have a great day..........Rick

Hi Leslie,

I think it's awesome that you're already exercising so soon after surgery. Please go slow though. I over did it too soon after surgery and paid for it with a pulled muscle that took a week of pain to get through.

Great job!

Hi Rick and all,

Rick considering you're injured, it's great you're still doing upper body workouts.

Yesterday I hit the eliptical for 33 minutes and did weights for 30. I am a bit sore today.

Today I am probably doing the eliptical again for 35 mintues, but I need to take a rest from lifting weights. OUCH!

Today I played with my grandchildren.  When they left I went to bed to rest!
