Run with the cool kids (repost)

As many of you know my friend and crazy running partner-in-crime Kirsten is running the LA Marathon in the spring of 2010.  If you are new to the Cali board, Kirsten is an amazing success story of what is possible with WLS.

She is running for AIDS Project LA and needs to raise a significant amount of money in addition to running the 26.2 miles.  

You can donate directly to her cause (the link is in her signature line), but you can also support her and the other runners by volunteering a****er stop on a Saturday morning at Griffith Park.  

Kirsten gets a $20 credit for every friend that volunteers their time!!  She can have up to two people every Saturday morning at Griffith Park.  We get to cheer on the runners, hand out snacks & water, and point them in the right direction on the course. 

I’m already signed up to work on November 14, who wants to keep me company?

Yay!!!!   Kimmie had so much fun last week she volunteered for a THIRD shift!  I'm sure she would love some company for 12/5!  Anyone??????

I would do it during my christmas vacation if there are more dates available (that would be the next three saturdays AFTER the 15th, I think)....

Yep.....EVERY single Saturday!  Just name the date and I'll put you down!  Maybe you can talk Monica into doing it again with you!  :-)

#2 Question.....

 If I do this and I bring all of my kids which is 7 and me and my hubby come will you get $180 credit? 

What if I bring freinds will you get $20.00 for each freind?

I would love to plan a day to go there Griffith park  How long do we volunteer and from what time to what time?  Let me know.

Kirsten can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she can only receive credit for two volunteers each week.

I can only receive credit for 2 volunteers each week.  All the kids and hubby can still come and help though!  I think they'd have a blast! 

Hey Monica....I heard from Paula.....she is doing the 28th, not the 21st!  Can you change that on your original post please?
