TRIUMPHENT THURSDAY! Gus only 1 more DAY!
A dear Gal Pal came up the hill out of the kindess of her heart and gave my entire family a lowering of the ears! All of us but one and I think that one is going to end up doing something as there was some chatting going on the side I could see.
Another Dear freind came over last night to share that her life is going to be ending realy soon her cancer is progressing and there is really nothing anyone can do. She got a little too relaxed on wine and we had to call her hubby to come get her. She needed to just escape from her life for a bit and I think it was a good thing for her.
So if you are a praying person please pray for her. I would so appriciate it.
Well what is everyone up to today? I am going to work then coming home and passing out as I did not go to bed till like 2:00 and by goodness I am tired.
Enjoy your day everyone, be nice to you, you deserve it.
Rhonda
Wow, sounds like you had a very busy and emotional day yesterday. I surely will add your friend to my prayer list as I can so relate. I have a cousin who is several years younger than I am (I think she is 49 or 50 who was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, she lives down in So Cal. I'd be so appreciative if you could add her to your prayers too, freakin' way too young to be going through such things. We sent her a nice card yesterday and I told her she had a lot of living to do and that she's never far from our thoughts and prayers.
Last night we visited a long term care place (right across from where Bert is now) that is so much better than where he currently is. I will await a call from Ron and Isla today giving me the A-OK to get the ball rolling with moving him today. That's a process for sure but Isla can't keep going where she isn't comfortable. So I am hoping and praying on this too. I'm sure burdoning God with lots these days but he comforts me and let's me know what I think is too much isn't too much for him.
So glad our weekend is in site. There are lots of craft fairs happening this weekend and next weekend, so I think I'm gonna grab Isla and take her away from it all and visit some.
Well, I hope everyone has a great day. Remember to enjoy the journey!
Hugs,
Barb
So sorry!

Rhonda I will keep your friend in my prayers.
Barb I will say a prayer for your FIL and cousin.
Chris hope you get to feeling better, there is something going around!
Today I am back on the road. I had a very long day yesterday. I got home and realized I had not taken anything out of the freezer to defrost, I had to get creative. Hopefully today is better, even though the bridge is open the traffic has been very weird! On the good side things can only get better-right!
Hope everyone has a good day!
Today I'm helping with the meal at church after a funeral. Since I'm not working I figure it's a way I can help out. I made a pasta salad last night to take.
This time change has been kicking my butt. The days feel so long and I get tired so early!
My tummy has been sore this past week, I don't know if it's normal after a TT, or if I'm doing too much but go****'s been 9 weeks now. I feel like I've done 1000 sit-ups. Maybe I'm just doing too much, or the nerves are waking up? I go back to the Dr in a few weeks.
Prayers going out for your friend, I know how rough it can be to loose people close to you from cancer. There is never enough anyone can say or do.
Hope everyone has a great day!
so, let's be kind to our neighbors today!
I read the story of the Good Samaritan yesterday, and you know, the lawyer asked the Lord, "who is my neighbor"? read the story and you discover that it was the Samaritan (considered scum by the jews of the day) who behaved as a loving neighbor to the jew who had been beaten and robbed...
so... let's go out and love those neighbors today...
happy triumphant thursday!
Lori
Good morning Miss Rhonda and friends,
As I told you this morning...you neighbor is one lucky lady to have you so close...you are a ray of sunshine...Cancer is such a horrible disease and it is so hard to see your loved ones and friends go though it...but you can only be there for her and pray that God will eas her pain and be there for her family. I will keep her in my prayers.
Barb, glad you have found a better place for your FIL and I will also say a special pray for you cousin.
Chis, hope you are feel better and take care of yourself.
Jan, Lady...take it easy, knowing you, you are doing to much...remember to slow down... Hope to see you at Tom's Farm on Saturday.
As for me...I know Jan, like I should talk about slowing down...lol I think I kind of over did it yesterday. A friend of mine got married and she asked me to be a witness...I was don't from 8:30am and got home around 1, only because after the ceremony I had to stop to pick up some groceries....well, my incision on the right side got a little irritated and was bleeding so I had to clean it and take it easy...but boy was I exhausted....just that little outing...
Today is just a nail appointment this morning, stop by Walmart, then home to relax...
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Hugs, Michele
