TRIUMPHENT THURSDAY! Gus only 1 more DAY!

Good Morning All!  Happy Terrific Thursday!

Last night was AWSOME! We went to the Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson concert here in Redding.  Randy Houser ROCKS!  He is so good and no matter how hard you try, there is no way to keep your feet from tapping out the beat!  We bought our friend Kim a ticket last night because she's been helping Joe out with a project and that lucky dog got 2nd row, seat 6 DEAD CENTER!  And she got to meet Randy Houser and got a hug.

Today is some work and at 11 I leave to drive to a Board of Trustees meeting in Concord for tomorrow.  I'm helping Georgia out with her open house drinks party in her room tonight before dinner.  Yes, Barb, I am going to be in Concord but I am afraid I just will not have 3 spare seconds to get together.  I will be back ............ and we will get together!

Off and running.  I have sh*t to get done before I bail out of here at 11. (most noteably, my timecards for the next few days so I can get paid!)

Hi everyone,

Not much going on today.  I went and saw my primary about my infection in one of my incision sites and he is referring me to a wound specialist.  I am still freaked out but from what I hear on the main board this is not an unusual situation.

My husband is away on business overnight tonight so I've got to keep myself busy so I don't sit and think about this infection all day.  I'm not sure why it is scaring me so badly.  I do have a meeting to go to tonight which will get me out of myself for at least an hour and a half so that will help.

I will be thinking about all of you and your and praying for them.  Thank God for this post and I am so grateful to have found this board.  Take care everyone!

Thanks so much all for the kind words, good thoughts and prayers!  I will be praying for your group too Barb.  Things are getting tough all over my freinds, we all need to be here to support encourage, pray for  and just care for one another.  That is all we can do. I better go before I start getting sentimintal and all.  I am starting to get misty this morning so I am going to go to work and be tough now. Have an awesome day all.

Good morning Rhonda and the rest of Cali,

Rhonda so sad about your friend.  Cancer is such an insideous disease.  It certainly doesn't discriminate.  I feel so lucky that  my little head-on-collision with it this year was no big deal and taken care of.  I feel grateful everyday to know I'll one day dance at my son's wedding and see my future grandchildren.  I shall hope for peace for your friend.

As for me today.  Nothing special.  Work all day and bowling tonight.  I so enjoy going bowling this year.  It's not the chore it had become the last couple of years.  I just so enjoy spending the evening with our new team mates.  None of us are competitive.  We are just there for a nice night out.  We have a good time.

So I finally picked up my new glasses yesterday and they are just not much better for the reading and computer work.  I just don't know what I'm going to do about that.  I have to adjust my head in different positions to find the spot to look out of these dang blasted pieces of plastic on my face to get clear vision.  It's very aggravating.  I may consider lasix next year and then all I'll have to worry about is reading glasses as opposed to these stupid bifocals which are driving me up a wall.  I've been wearing glasses or contacts since I'm 7 years old.  It would be so nice to have clear vision for once. 

OK, time for some coffee and to get busy here.  Tomorrow I'm only in the office half a day.  I have my 4th iron infusion and hopefully my last one for a while.  You take it easy today Rhonda and get yourself home for some much deserved sleep.  Everyone have a great day and remember no matter what else you do today, do something special just for you.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend with the cancer.  I lost my niece (only 38!) to uterine cancer this past June after a 3 year battle.  Call me crazy, but I strongly believe that there is Evil out there attacking the Faithful, trying to weaken our relationship with the Lord.  God does perform miracles and He hears and responds to every single prayer offered up..Never stop believing!!

Rhonda, Barb and MsBlues, my prayers include all of you and your loved ones who are fightin this awful Evil...may you find peace and comfort in knowing you are not alone in your struggles...God Does Listen!

Ok, my weekly sermon is done...and I don't mean to offend anyone..but I also don't apologize for my beliefs^_^

Yesterday was a GREAT day...your positive feedback and support helped me accomplish my goal...NO SNACKING at all!!  Sounds so simple seeing it in writing..but bad habits are so hard to break :-(  1 day down...a life time to make it permanent ^_) Thank you for being here and listening.

Today is work, tonight is fighting with AT & T about my wireless device that is not working, and tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!  Camping again is on the agenda..to make sure what has been fixed stays fixed in the m/h LOL

Good morning Rhonda and all of California!

I got my coffee here, and it's a good day! I have six days left at this job and I will be out of here! I gave notice on Monday.

I plan on enjoying every single day of the holiday season from beginning to end without having to clear my schedule with an overbearing office manager.

Good times. :)

I got big plans this weekend, can't wait to get to it!
