OT: Question for the Nurses on the bord

Greetings,

I know there are several nurses that post here on the Cali Forum and I need some help.

I took the job as a Hospice nurse and come to find out that the position is a contractors position. So now I feel the need to get a form of malpractice insurance (you know the stuff they pound in our brains in school LOL) and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of a reliable insurance company. That was the first place I looked at on the internet and got a quote from. Seemed to be fairly priced and pretty quick.  Just wanted to get some advice before I jumped LOL

I work as a contract nurse/traveller but my company pays for my insurance.  If you belong to a professional group (ANA, AACN, etc) they sometimes offer cut rates.
