Good morning all,

Ahhhhhh Sunday.  I just woke up and I can't believe I actually slept so late.  Yesterday was a busy and long day.  Class at 9AM of course.  Then my son came by at lunchtime and we had a bite to eat, finished up class by 4PM and well, we were already in Anaheim, so Mike and I decided to go over to Disney for a bit.  I just LOVE our annual passes.  No pressure to see everything.

Last night we walked around a bit and went on a couple of things and then decided to head on over to see Fantasma.  Well got held up by the castle with a parade, but it was great.  It's a street party celebration they do.  So much fun.  Then were on our way over to the water. Stopped and got some fruit and nuts and got to the area 2 hours before the show.  We knew if we wanted a decent place to see it, we had to stake out our spot early.  We started talking to a worker there and he told us to stand behind this light platform.  It was huge and blocked the entire view.  Well the reason for that spot and that most people don't stand there because of the platform, is that the platform raises completely up in the air and you wind up with a perfect center view of the entire show.  So, we had a rail to lean on, ate our fruit and nuts, people watched and waited for the show.  It was great and we also didn't realize that immediately after when the fireworks start, that is a really good spot for watching them.  It's a totally different view and was great.  Then it was time to leave.  I stopped at Sephora on our way out.  I needed some moisturizer and a new eyebrow pencil and then it was time to head out to the car and drive home.  That was the worst part of the day.  Mike and I were both so tired.  It took all his effort to stay awake.  I felt so bad.

Today we were going to have breakfast with some friends but they can't make it so here I am.  I need to get some laundry started shortly and then I will probably go over to the market and get something to make for dinner.  I'm thinking a nice pot roast with veggies maybe.

Well I hope everyone has a wonderful day no matter what you decide to do.  Remember though, do something special for yourself.

Morning Rhonda and Cali gang
Up early this morning (well, it was 7am when I crawled out of bed LOL) and have been busy creating financial reports for the carving club newsletter. It's not due to the editor until the 20th but I sometimes forget and then I have to scramble to make deadline.  Anyway...this just may be the next to the last report I have to do....gonna make the new treasurer submit December's..and that's the year end report LOLOLOL  (not nice to $*## off Mother Nature!)

Yesterday was an errand-filled day but I think we just about have the m/h done (for now).  We got the dash heater fixed, the cruise control, ordered pillow-tops for the bed and couch, ordered the in-dash radio (with 7" DVD screen!), purchased a VuQube satellite antenna for cable reception (anywhere!) and had the rig lubed, greased, and fluids topped off.  Only thing left to repair is the cab a/c..which we  will wait until Spring as I'm sure we won't be using air conditioning for a couple of months LOL  Especially going North to Washington in 2 weeks ;-)

Today I'll work on the club books since I didn't get to it yesterday.  I am actually looking forward to being done with this 'job'...and just getting back to carving and not worry about the 'business' side of it.  I do need to get outside and mow our lawns before the rain hits again (maybe) on Tuesday.  I'm not complaining about the rain tho...our lawns have 'greened' up so nice..all the summer brown areas are gone ^_^

I've got Baby Brianna news! and A WOW moment to bring..but I'll do them under separate posts...too wonderful to 'hide' in here...Don't ya just Love Teasers?  LOL
Have a wonderful day everyone...and Gus?  I'd start ducking if I were you!  LOL
Hugs

I have told you a zillion times I will not feed you my pets, I will not make you process the pets, and I will not let you wear my pets.  Period.  Never.  However, next time you are up I wll let Joe take you out and teach you firearm safety, how to shoot and let you shoot at targets.  No pets for you.

Things to do next week..  shopping, crafting, teaching, shopping, spa time, laughing, wine, more wine, some more wine and lots and lots of laughing.  That's all that's needed.
