Did you "Move to Lose" today?

Good afternoon all,

Well its that time of day again were we tell all what we did to "Move to Lose" today and just remember that every little thing counts as long as we just keep moving.

For me, I did an upper body workout today and tried to work my abs a bit. Doctor told me I cant wal****il Friday because he wants the incision site to heal a little better on my foot. So I worked out on my pilates ball before my last OH support group leader training session and I am so glad I took this training........Really has some great information.

I'm not sure if I'm going to move tonight.  Anna and I have to do a few things after work.  If I go to the gym, it won't be until 9ish......

I plan to do 60 min of pure cardio if I go.

Hi Rick and all,

I will be hitting the gym after work for 35 minutes of cardio on the eliptical and around 30 minutes of weight training. Unfortunately I pulled something in my right shoulder so I probably will only do lower weights.

I am afraid to do crunches. I gave myself a hernia last time I did that. I might try and start of slow. We shall see.

I am cleaning house (at least I am supposed to be doing that!)  I wil also do 1 hour of pilates starting at 5:15.

Well I don't know if it counts for you but it does for me.  One and one half hours at PT today.  Bike riding, and the arm thing, I call it the bike for the upper body and strength workingout....enough for me.  So yeah, my back is screaming and pissed right now, but it will thank me later.  I moved today

You darn straight Diane this counts.......Considering whats going on with your back it should count as double.

BTW......Seeing you up and walking at Tom's Farms on Saturday was AWESOME. After seeing how much pain you were in from your posts, I thought you would be in that scooter.......My hats off to ya for bearing the pain that day

I am doing alot better, thank you.  It is always good for me to be out and with people.  Makes me feel so much more normal.  As for today house cleaning will count.  Just going up and down the stairs is like running a mile!

Next time you see me, I will be with a cane or just walking normal!

I walked a mile on my afternoon break at work and took the stairs (7 floors).  I will also walk another 2-3 miles tonight when I get home.

Hi rick,

I did three miles this morning boy was it cold!  I then did another mile at lunch time.  trying to get back in the swing of things now that I am home for the week.
