Hi Barb and Cali Crew,

Today I am thankful for;

1. Letting my current boss know I am applying for another job and his reaction was very positive.

2. That all the blazers I tried on this morning were too big and that I had to be creative with a scarf instead

3. Being on time to a very early meeting where I had to give a presentation on very detailed and dense information and that I did well

4. Having a lot of healthy choices to choose from for lunch because I left what I was going to bring at home...OOPS!

That quote is so appropriate today, BARB!!! So, im swimmin along doing my laps at 530 this morning... and the guy next to me is just beating the water to death... and the lady splitting his lane with him was laughing-complaining that he was speedy gonzalez and making her feel slow and in the way... and a few minutes he got out of the pool having sufficiently killed the water... and later I finished my workout and I did over a mile this morning at a good pace... never giving up... not stopping or letting a feeling of competition come from that lane.. and WOW did I feel good.... kinda like the turtle that wins over the Rabbit... I never felt that I didn't have a chance to be a winner!  lol...

So I am thankful for the wonderful workout this morning, the really busy day today and that the whole day has gone by quickly and lots got accomplished.  I am thankful for the GREAT Back On Track support group meeting on Saturday that really has me focused and committed to sticking to my protocol because my very life depends on it! I am thankful for the Sz. 18 Black Satin Calvin Klein dress that I found for my office christmas party that looks amazing.. and will fit even better in 3 weeks!!! I am thankful for Nancy's grandbaby Brianna going home... Oh and I am thankful that my friend confronted her boss after he really hurt her feelings, and he admitted he was wrong! and DANG if Im just so very thankful for each moment being so full of life!!!
