Good Morning Miss Rhonda, and everyone,

Well today is a little house cleaning.  I will sit in the chair and roll around and do all the furniture and then I will be directing everyone one else on what to do.  I am kinda picky on how I like things done, so I will show all how I like it, and then I won't have to worry.  I really try to keep ontop of things so it is never a big job.  Once a week the house gets a good going through and then everyday I pick a room to keep up, that way the house always looks good.  I don't know how I got to be so anal about my house, when I was growing up you couldn't even open my bedroom door the room was such a mess.

Yesterday brought on PT for me.  Now today everything is sore.  I don't know why he had me doing some of the things I do, my back isn't muscle sore at all, but my arms are sore, and my knees are killing me, 15 or so minutes on a bike for the first time, that is a little much for someone who has been sitting in a chair for 5 months.  I am NOT going 3 times a week, and I have the option of going to pool therapy which I would like alot more than feeling like I was in a gym.  It's decision time.

Barb I am really glad that your FIL found another place.  I guess I missed the incident that caused him problems, but I am so happy that you found somewhere that makes them both happy.  I certainly understand how hard it is, we had such a difficult time with my mom.

Rhonda, take it easy.  You are going to wear yourself to the bone and you need to slow down.  You can't keep running by those roses and not stop and smell them.  So please take care of you, you have a rough job, because so many depend on you.  Just know you are well loved by many and we do worry about the pace you keep at.

Becky and Tara are all moved in, well they are here.  We need to do alot of house cleaning to make room for their stuff.  They are leaving again today and will be back tomorrow.  It's really nice having them here.  I look forward to alot more happy days and with the Holidays coming....it will be fun

Ok I am really tired today.  Damn phone rang a little after 8 and woke me up.  Lil Michelle, just come on Sat, I am not going to be doing anything all day will just be hanging out, you can keep me company.  I am not going to be soaking to much in anything, I still worry about my back and I want to make sure it is really closed up before I soak.  I would miss you a lot, and by the way my tummy and Dougies, says THANK YOU!!!!!!

Have a great day all, Diane

Good late morning all,

I had an appointment this morning with the allergist.  Got all my testing done and no real big surprises there.  Basically, if it grows on a tree, has flowers, is covered in dust and has fur all over it, chances are I'm allergic to it.  Only surprise was one.  I don't have food allergies.  Never have.  But now it appears I have developed a food allergy to beef.  I can't imagine that and I can't imagine what it does to me.  There is nothing that I've noticed.  Oh well, not going to stop me from eating my steak.  Will be starting a new allergy program as soon as the meds come in.  Instead of shots twice a week, I will self administer drops under my tongue on a daily basis.  I'm curious to see how they work.  Of course like with shots, we really won't know for 9 months or a year but I'm going to give it a try.  Additionally, because I responded so well to the cortizone shots he gave me last week, it may be necessary for me to contine that a couple times a year.  We'll see.  I just know I feel so much better since having them and starting the asthma meds.  Now to try to clear up the chronic sinus infection.  I will be on antibiotics for about 6 weeks.

Nothing much planned else planned for today.  Just work and then home for the evening.  I had my leftovers from dinner last night that I was so excited about taking for lunch today and then left them home.  But they will be there for tomorrow.  Tonight we are having the leftover pot roast I made on Sunday.  The gravy it was in was so delicious that I promised Mike dinner tonight would be his favorite egg noodles smothered in that meaty gravy.  I'm salivating myself just thinking about it.  Unfortunately, I have to go easy on the noodles as they don't sit too great on my tummy.  Oh well, but I can have some.

Time to get busy here.  I hope everyone has the best day and remember to do something great just for yourself.

Howdy all!  It's my FRIDAY!!!!  I'm off tomorrow for Veterans day and then taking 2 days of vacation to go have some good gal pal time!  I can hardly wait!

I'm also totally looking forward to Thanksgiving.  We're having a big dinner on Saturday with a 3-family shin-dig.  I'm bringing smoked turkey, stuffing (I totally make the BEST in the world) and gravy.  And a Pumpkin Cake that will add 5 pounds to your butt just by smelling it!  I'll have one little fork-ful and call it good.

Another reason I'm looking forward to it this year is that last year I was in a hospital bed with a tube stuck up my nose and not allowed to eat anything other than ice chips.  Bowel obstruction they didn't fix until Friday evening after Turkey day.  So I didn't get any turkey or stuffing, or cranberry or gravy or nuthin last year......(boo, hoo, see me rubbing my eyes full of tears!).

My adorable old man bought me the most wonderful present.  I got a white gold trident sapphire ring with 3 diamonds.  It's georgeous.  I've posted a picture to my profile.  I'd put it here but for some reason I just can't figure out how to do it.  Duh - must be the blonde in me.

Off to lunch I go.  Yogurt (not that Activia sh*t), cottage cheese and Kashi Go Lean cereal.  Mmmmm

You betcha! that ring is definitely a keeper ;-)  I love sapphires and tanzanite rings...the diamonds set it off perfectly!

Can you tell me how to post a picture in a message?  I've been dying to try and figure out how.  And the ring is the masculine version of my wedding set.  Joe doesn't wear a ring and I've been telling him forever that I wanted "his" ring so I could wear it.  Now, I've got it.

Hey Mo..you're half way there already ;-)  You have the picture in your profile page/photos.  Now just right click on the picture, click 'copy', start a new posting..place the cursor (ya know, the blinking white arrow? LOL) anywhere on the posting page, right click and click on paste...the picture should appear.  I'm sure you know how to copy/paste..it's no different here.  Only trick is that the picture you want to include has to be on your profile page first...you can't copy from any other source (i.e., your computer picture file)..
Good luck!
Nancy

Hi all,

It's Tuesday and I am cranky. I have to work an 11 hour day and part of that includes driving up 101 North from Silicon Valley to the Peninsula and that just sucks at that time of day.  I am also bored with the tasks I have to do in the office. I just want to go home, read a book and be warm under a blanket. I am also missing my eating disorders support group for work and that bugs me too. SIGH!

I am losing more weight. Yipee! I'll definitely be throwing down a good number for WWW.

Take Care All,
