OT: Random Thoughts
20 Random Thoughts for the Day
1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.
5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least KIND OF tired.
10. Bad decisions make good stories.
11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.
12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.
13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this -- ever.
15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Damn it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice-mail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?
16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
18. My 4-year old son asked me in the car the other day "Mom what would happen if you ran over a ninja?" How the hell do I respond to that?
19. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.
20. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lites than Kay.

You caught me. Crap!! LOL I'm so supposed to be working, but I'm having the hardest time today getting my head wrapped around it. I think I have totally and completely become #11 on the list. On the bright side, the boss and the admin people are in a phone training session on our practice program used for billing until 2PM so it's fairly quiet. I'm thinking perhaps it's time for a nap. Guess I'll just have to settle for lunch. Oh well. Hope the rest of your day goes well, Nancy. If nothing else, learn the art of disguise. My disguise for the day is to look like I'm working when I'm actually so far from it.

You know, it would be really easy to hate you right about now....Friday for you, your gal pal weekend and a new ring from your man. Ummmm....excuse me, get out of my way, you're just p*ssing me off.
By the way, the ring is beautiful and have a wonderful time with your friends. Try to behave, but if you can't, just make sure you don't get arrested and if you do, well it means you had a really really good time.

I'd love to meet you sometime! We always keep bail money in the safe - I tell my hubby that I'll come bail him out it just has to wait till the sun comes up.
I earned every one of those perks!!!! Work (been here 25 years....... earned way more vacation days than are on the books), Gal Pal weekend with Rhonda - YEEEE HAW! and the ring - well he went hunting in Wyoming and spent $2500 on his trip. So, when I went to the jewelry store to get his watch fixed and saw this (which matches my custom wedding set perfectly) I had her hold it and told him to go buy it. I don't ask for much, but when I do........................ you got the picture.
I'll meet you some day I hope. You sound like a kick in the tush!

I would thoroughly enjoy meeting you and even getting arrested together. I've talked my way out of jail before. OK, so I was 16, extremely cute and the cop was easy prey, but hey, we women do what needs to be done.
So, you send your guy hunting. I'll send mine off on his motorcyle with his guns to shoot things in the desert and we can go hang out at jewelry stores and just wait for them to get home. I can see more diamonds in my future as I "speak".
Have fun. I'll be sitting in tax class wondering why I picked a profession that requires me, at my age, to still go to school and consumes my life from January until April. Oh well, at least I get to go to Disneyland after class. Makes it easier to deal with.

Stephanie,
Great list and hilarious! I really enjoyed it. I am also having a difficult time wrapping my head around work. I don't want to do what I am supposed to do and I have work 11 hours today. I have to admit I am greatly annoyed by this, but I have a job.
Thanks again for the list. Very cool.
