Hello. Well I have health net HMO and just had to change my medical group because the one I had denied my surgery consultation. I know they denied just the consultation and my doctor even wrote a letter of medical necessity. So I was able to change medical groups with Health Nets help and keep my same PCP which will be effective Dec. 1st and they will resubmit the request with the new medical group. Has anyone else been denied the consultation with the surgeon?? Or does anyone else have health net?? Health Net is actually being great its just the medical group that sucks.

How long did the process take for you? Did they require the 6 month diet? Thanks

Sorry I have not been on here in a while. No six month diet they just wanted a list of all the different diets I did. The  complete process was about 8 months.
