Happy Wacky Weigh-In Wednesday

Hi Everyone!

Arghhh!!!!!!!  I don't get weighed until tomorrow.  It is confusing when you are getting weighed at three different places on three different scales.  But my PCP and my nutritionists scales seem to be the closest and most accurate and my surgeons the most off.  So tomorrow I will see the PCP and get weighed.  Can I post that tomorrow?

It's ok to post it tomorrow, just make sure Chris knows it so she can add you in.

Hey Diane!  Thanks for the info.  I am doing good!  Been keeping busy and seeing doctors every other day.  I am looking forward to weighing tomorrow because I am convinced my surgeon's scale is wrong.  We shall see...

I have been reading your posts and I hope your PT isn't too brutal tomorrow.  I'm glad you and your husband got to sign the retirement paperwork and will be thinking of you both on December 18th (that's the date right?)  Anyway, hope to see you again soon!

Today is a holiday for me. Yeah!! It is also the beginning of my vacation. We are going camping in the Sierras. We will probably get snowed on but I am looking forward to getting away. We will be gone for almost 10 days.

Put me down for -1 lbs.

Kim!  You are just like MoMo...braggin about going on vacation!  I have to agree with Stephanie..I hate you!  jk..,.ok, it's more like I'm jealous...I still have 7 days of work left and THEN I'm on vacation ^_^    So??? what part of the Sierra's are you visiting?  I never did make it to Yosemite...boo hoo...next spring maybe ;-)

Good Morning,

Still no scale here, but I think I have gained a few pounds, I feel fatter and I think my tummy is a tad bigger, I will be working on feeling thinner by next week.

Yesterday Doug and I signed his retirement papers.  I didn't want to go and I am glad that I did, I actually signed some of his papers.  Boy a lot has changed since I retired.  I went in alone, signed all my papers and that was it.  They even needed my birth certificate for his retirement.  Weird.  So the official countdown in down.  Dec 18th here we come!  On a good note, there is oo bucks more a month we didn't know about....yippee!

I am still sore from therapy, and I do again tomorrow.  One a wonderful happy note for me....I AM DRIVING! Finally after 3 months, I am free, and I am going to try to continue to walk with a cane now and see what happens.

A lot of terrible excitement here last night.  One of our neighbors left her house took a walk, was 2 hours down from her house and her neighbor from around the corner, was driving home from work, as she crossed the street and he ran her over and killed her.  They weren't able to identify her till 11 last night.  Very sad neighborhood today.  We are a close group here, and it is so sad that this has happened.  May our Lord rest her soul, and may He give comfort to the person that hit her.

Ok so Doug and I are together again today, so nice to have him home, but he will return to work tomorrow for two days and we also countdown to the weekend.  YEAH Friday is almost here.

Finally, I am down.  Put me down for 2 lbs lost.  Damn.  Ive got the day off, plus another 4 so I'm on VACATION!!!!  I'm off to get a dip and a clip, get rid of the root lines and the scraggly ends, buy a new suitcase and get packing!  Here I come!
