Hi Barb, I like this one.  We all make mistake and it is a learning tool!

Today I am thankful for:

Ms V being accepted into the new preschool.

Thanksgiving is around the corner and that means road trip!

Count down to Christmas, I so much to appreciate this year!

Oh man!  I am soooo jealous that you got your hair done.  I need to do mine so very bad but don't have the $$ yet.  To me, the gray is just shouting at, saying, "Look at the old lady, look at the old lady!!!"  LOL!!!  I am pretty sure it is not as horrible as I think it is.  I have been asking my fashion cunsultant, my youngest son Gary, what it looks like, and he says fine.  He is honest and doesn't mince words, so until he says it looks like ca ca, I won't do anything about it.

If I had enough nerve, I would try to do something to it myself, but am afraid I would do something wrong and it would all fall out!  Eeks!!

Have a wonderful day with your gorgeous hair, Barb!!

Hey Jilli...I went 'au natural' about 10 years ago...just got tired of paying the bucks to cover the gray.  Ever since, every stylist I've gone to tells me to leave it alone! I'm very blessed that the hair came in silver not white but still, sometimes I think I would look younger if I 'highlighted' it with something...but then poor Lon would Really get the grief for marrying someone so much younger (he's already 12 years older than me LOL).

If I thought it would come in as attractive as yours, I might think about it.  But, I can tell that it is gonna not be a great shade of gray, just a dull, nasty look.  I don't do the whole dye job because it would just look too fake on me.  I have it weaved, and just here and there, not all over.  One time it might be the middle, the next time, more to the left.  I know it is weird, but it really does work well.  The only part I get totally done is the front, the bangs area, cuz that is where it is the yuckiest!

I am the younger woman too!  Jeff is 10 years older, but the turkey probably has like two gray hairs and thats it!!!!   NO FAIR!!!!!

Have a great day!

Hey Jillie, I have the problem in the bangs area too! I have what I call my Cruella De Ville, its a patch of grey/white/silver/who knows that is on my right temple. Never completely goes away. My husband is 16 1/2 years older than me. So can I join the secret society of Older husbands/ Beautiful wives (OHBW)? Lol, sorry couldn't resist!

I tried the grey thing.  Let it all grow out.  It looked so bad on me(aged me about 10 years I think) but it didn't really bother me until I was in the hospital having my hysterectomy in March and not one but two people asked me if Mike was my son.  Oh let me tell you, I made an appointment and went back to my dark hair so quick my head was spinning.  I will NOT do that again.  I'm older than him to begin with.  I don't need to look the part.
