Dear support team--I regret not seeing you all this Saturday, but I am planning for my new year early.  I have been working with a new PMD and this morning retook the New Patient class at Orange  Coast.  My goal is to welcome in the new year with an insurance authorization for surgery. That said, I am taking a repeat nutrition class this Saturday and my doctor talk on 12/7.  I need to redo my psych eval--any suggestions?  My PMD also wants me to have a sleep study for sleep apnea.  Then a support group--you all know the routine! Anyways I will miss the camaraderie and support but I REEEEEEEEEEALY want to join you on the bench next year!  Have a good time and post lots of pictures!

We will miss you honey, but so glad you are getting this taken care of because we want you on the bench with us! It sucks that you are having to jump through such hoops, but my prayers are with you for a great start to 2010 with WLS!!!

I'm not sure I can make it to the coffee either, but I sure hope you get your authorization ASAP.  Crystal and I both used the same shrink, Dr. Marc Bock, and found the process to be pleasant and quick.  He charges $180 (very reasonable compared to others I've heard of) and didn't take our insurance, although you could probably submit it to yours for reimbursement.  Here's his contact info:
