Endoscopy = Pain!!!

I had an endoscopy this morning and I am still in pain. It was the last step that needed to be completed before I can get my surgery date so it was well worth it, but my jaw and throat are killing me still. Has anyone else been through this? Just want to knwo I am not alone in feeling this pain. And will it go away soon?

I am sorry you are still in pain.  I have never had an endoscopy so I can't help you there.  I notice you are in Sherman Oaks.  We are having a SFV coffee on the 29th.  Let me know if you are interested and I will repost the details.  Or keep your eye open as I post the event again.  ;-)

I just recently had one. I had a pretty bad sore throat for about 2 days after.

I also had to have this done as a pre-requisite for surgery, but didn't have any pain...

Sorry you are feeling pain...

I DID feel that sort of pain after surgery, though, since they had a tube down my throat, and will for yours, as well, so, I guess you know a bit of what to expect for a couple days post-op...

You're probably already feeling better...
