Good Morning,...........
Good Morning Calif...........
Wake up and enjoy this chill Sunday morning. I woke up early thinking I would go for a run. Brrrrrrrr it was to cold, so I just thought really really hard about it. I wonder if that works?? I remember a few mornings running for APLA in the park, there would be ice on the road, and I am sure I lost a few toes, just never knew it, since it was so COLD. One morning, I remember them saying it was like 33 degrees. Lynn and I just warmed up after running 8 miles. That was the morning I hurt my ankle. Do you Remember that Lynn?
It off to work for me today. I hope today is like yesterday, we had a nice day. Not to much all at once, just a nice study pace. I was able to get some of my reports done. There is so much to do and so little time. UGH! If today is like yesterday, I should be able to finish them up today.
Stephie...congrats on passing your test. I knew you could do it. You is smart, even if you call me friend.
Dolores......So did you get everything done yesterday? I hope that you was able to enjoy your day. Was triple A open yesterday?
Michelle.........My sister is doing good. Its coming on a year for her. She wants me to give her a new life party. I might take her to dinner, but no party. LOL
Lady D......how is your foot doing? I hope you was able to get your stuff done and your foot didn't give to bad of time.
Rhonda.......so how was your slow day on the ranch? did you find time to relax?
Barb......how is the yard looking, since I wont be making it up your way for the pot luck, I hope you are able to post some pictures when you get it done. I would love to see it.
Eileen...........so how is your car doing? I hate taking my Jeep in, but do so as needed so I wont have any problems. Just hating sitting around all day waiting. Have fun at work today.
MsBlues........that is very nice of you to help your mom out. I am lazy and hate to starting out for my run, but once I get out and there and start moving, I love and feel so much better the next day. As someone great told me, speed don't matter, its the moving that counts. So walking or running, you are moving and that is was counts. Welcome back!
Kat............i am sorry you are having to do your plans at this time of year. Its hard any time, but now, its twice as hard. I am speaking with Kristen about going to work a water stop some time after the frist of the year, maybe you can ride along. I will let you know.
Mo.........any babies yet? I freak when the babie start coming, I have to have someone around that can handle the yuk stuff, cause that is not me. UGH! I am also happy you are getting your house put back together. Takes alot of stress out of your day, when home is home.
OK coffee is done and so its time to start my day. I wish you ALL a great day. Be safe in all you do. Smile and be happy, for you are loved by someone in Riverside.

So there just might be some redemption to these last few months. I have really loved this year until Oct 14th. I had a car accident, and then a month later my husband and I miscarried a baby we didnt even know we were having ( i was only 6 weeks along). We lost our car in the accident a complete total loss, just found that out a week ago.
We lost our baby cause of Endometriosis and possible issues from the accident.... BUT BUT enough bad crap (PLEASE!!!!)
We bought a new car last night. We got a Chevy Malibu 2009 ( slightly used) but hey it will get me to work and get our kiddo to school...
And we still have some money to christmas shop!!!

Good morning LuLu and Cali! I am up and getting ready for church. I have 2 SF/Gluten free apple chrisps in the oven at the momnet. They are for the choir. I need to be at church by 7:30am for sound check, then it's 2 services and then home for the rest of the day. I need to start straightening up the house for Thanksgiving, but I'll have 4 1/2 days to get that done...lol I hope everyone has a great day. Rember, be good to yourselves, and each other.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,
Lu, so glad to hear your sister is doing so well, please give her a hug for me and tell her I am so happy she's doing so well.
Yesterday was our Nor Cal Lumcheon, we were a small but darn fun group.of 9 and we got to welcome Teagin (who will have her surgery Dec 17th) to our group. We planned our Dec. 5th get togeher and the group decided they wanted to do an early dinner because they thought it would be more festive. Added to that, we will do a White Elephant gift exchange. So, I will be posting news about that date and of course anyone is welcome to attend.
Last night Isla and I started painting some new pieces for our Gingerbread Village yard art and I gotta say I am loving it. If I think about it, I will take a picture of the process and show you how it looks from start to finish. I so love doing this, it is my creative outlet.
Oh and did I mention go CAL Bears!!! They beat Stanford in the big game yesterday, WHOO HOO!!! The sports casters had been talking about Stanford all week, and Stanford was favored to win but CAL showed up and played with their hearts. Ron was SO happy his Bears won!
Today, we will visit Ron's Dad and do some more painting and watch football. Sounds like a fun day to me!
Hope everyone has a great day.
Hugs,
Barb

Good Morning Lu and Cali Crew,
It is very chilly up here in Hesperia. I am glad that DD is doing so well, Lu. You and your family are always in my prayers. Great job on your score on your tax final, Steph! Whoo-hoo!! Barb, how is Bert doing at his new place? Would love to see pics of the work-in-progress. Reminds me of us. We are all works in progress. Mo, I hope those puppies come soon. Sounds like you are all prepared. That is awesome. Must be a puppy week. My friends have a chihuahua, that gave birth last night. She had 4 of the critters. I love puppies, and although this might be ugh to some, I love puppy breath! Not doggy breath, ewww. Katrina, congradulations on the new car. I know it has been a bad year, or last few months, but hang in there. Big hugs to you and your family. Linda, I am glad you had a good time at the So Cal Coffee. I am sorry I missed seeing you, Patsy. Maybe next month, I will be able to make it. Hope everybody had a great time at the coffees and lunches yesterday!
Today brings visiting with a friend down the hill, attending church, maybe a trip to wally world or Sam's Club. And of course.... FOOTBALL! Lol! That's what I love about Sundays!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Morning All! Today brings me................midwifery! Yes, she has finally gone into labor. She is exhibiting all the signs of stage two of doggy labor. Panting, teeth chattering, shivering, pacing and digging in her whelping spot. And all she wants is to be by my side. So, sometime today I will hopefully be posting pictures of my new "grandkids".
Joe worked from 3pm until 2 am and has to be back at work at 9 this morning. Go Double Time! They're removing the last span of bridge in prep for building the last stage. I will hopefully be able to go down around 1 and watch as they lift a span and move it out. Wow! If I get some good pictures, I'll post a couple.
I slept like crap last night. Because of the nap yesterday, I couldn't go to sleep, then the dog went into labor and all she wanted was me up petting her, comforting her and panting in my ear. Today I will hopefully get another nap.
House is in order, T-Day groceries bought, and laundry done. Yay me. One year ago tomorrow I was in the hospital having my gallbladder removed. One year ago on Wednesday I was rushed to the hospital with a bowel obstruction and admitted. I spent last T-Day in the hospital with a tube up my nose and only able to eat ice chips. This year will be sooooo DIFFERENT!!!! I'm eating turkey by God or else! Even if I have to put it in the blender with gravy and puree it, I'll be eating the stuff (teeeeheee)
Off to shower so I'll be up and ready to start my day. Pictures forth-coming as soon as the new kids are cleaned up and ready for pictures.

Good morning Lu and Cali,
It was a great day yesterday! Got all things accomplished and more. Threw in a couple loads of laundry and cooked dinner to boot! The Nor Cal lunch was great, we had a small group but had loads of conversation. TeaginB made out like a bandit on the clothing exchange and Barb went home with a few treasures of her own. Rachel mentioned she is happy to see her clothes go to someone she know will enjoy them and not just the donation truck.
We have a wine and cheese this afternoon, our first Holiday get together. Can not wait until Nor Cal Holiday dinner. It will be a blast.
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. MoMo my daughter want to see puppy pictures, I told her we had to wait until they are born!

Good chilly morning all!
it's a lovely, crisp, Fall day here in LB... enjoying being in a nice warm home...
momo... poor baby doggie momma girl...i hope she delivers SOON, so her pain is over, and you get to go see the bridge work!
katrina...you sure HAVE had a trying year so far!! glad you got the new car and let's hope and pray things pick up now on a good note for you all....
for me...cleaning the house...the family is coming over on thanksgiving... and I have to work mon/tues... so... time to CLEAN!!
my pastor friend is coming over for "coffee tawk" later... looking forward to seeing him...he is a young man who actually lived here in the house for about a year when he first moved to cali...
prayers for my family...my father's cancer has progressed very rapidly, and it's that time to make the big decisions...when to start hospice care...how much more treatment to try to put him through, etc.
But, for now, we are still able to be together for at least thanksgiving, and that's a good thing. I have a photographer friend coming over to take family pix on thanksgiving, and some of mom and dad snuggling together, too...
love on those families of yours today...
