Waaay OT: Survey for women only

So, something came up the other day when a group of us girls were talking about my upcoming surgery and I need input. The subject is shaving your hoohaw...

1.do you or don't you?

2. do you do it yourself or does your partner do it for you?

3. and most importantly, how do you do it?  regular razor, electric razor, wax, or veet/nair???

I need to do mine for the first time because I still meed my mons fixed more and the surgeon said last time, he was afraid to do too much because my hairline might end up being my panty line. I could fricken care less, I just want it done. So, if it is shaved, he won't know where the hairline is right?!  But I'm scared and looking for input, so fess up girlies and spill all the details!!!
I no longer have anyone to do it for me, so I have to do it myself, but I don't think I trust myself with a regular razor down there! lol
Don't be shy, chime in.   thanks in advance  lol
bigg huggs, Becky

Even if you shave your cooter can tell where the hair line is.
Mine is trimmed. Have no partner to shave it if I did shave. My docotr once told me years ago to keep it trimmed as there is no good reason for it. Waxing hurts....electric razors pull hair.. after a certain age it goes away....:) or is very sparse

Can't he just take it out in a center cross line...like a c-section?

That would be nice, especially since there is a butt crack down the middle anyway. The thing is, it really isn't covered in my approval, he was nice last time and added it in, don't know how much he will be willing to do this time. It is way better than it was, but still has excess that needs to go and it is lopsided from last time!  sorry if TMI  lol

I shave with a regular razor.  Ive used Nair but your not supposed to in that area and it can burn.  I once had a gynocologist tell me I shouldn't shave and I was embarrassed, but wtf, its me and I can do what I want right?  The next gyno i went to I was nervous and let it grow and then they said the hair was getting in the way and pulling.  apparently I can't win!. I am going to have to have my mons done so Im looking forward to hearing how they take care of it for you.  I hate mine, it really bothers me!

Hugs Becky!

I hear the Veet is better for that area than the Nair.

Mine bothers me alot too. they fixed it some the first time, but it still needs more work and it's lopsided. I have a package and that just aint right for a girl!!! lol

not stupid at all. It is the pubic area and for some of us it gains weight too and it can't lose the weight. The only way to get rid of it is surgical removal.  not a pretty subject at all for those that have an ugly one!!!

Chiming in...

No razor or scissors near Miss Priss!

I have been waxed before.... a little unconfortable.  If you get waxed, go to a place were they don't use the paper strips.  Those strips take off a layer of your skin making you extra sensitive down there.  I have went to Stark Waxing Studios; they put the warm wax directly on you, let it cool off and then snatch the strip (with the hair) right off of you.

A week before plastics I got brave and went and got waxed. It wasn't nearly as bad as I had heard.

I had bikini, legs, armpits and eyebrows done.  Figured what the heck ...
