Feeling great, just keeping really busy and trying hard not to be depressed. Guess the holidays are going to be tough. Just got to get through it.

Armpits were great, actually went a few weeks without shaving. I too do it every other day. That's the one place I'd do it again without a reason like surgery.

I had my tubes tied a year before my lapband and shaved it all because I didn't want to think about it, but when I went in for my lapband I just "tidied" up. Schick has a razor which has a mini buzzer on one end and a razor on the other. It works perfect for doing it yourself. You can buzz it short first using the trim side, then shaving nearest the panty line gets easy. I would NEVER let my husband or any one else down there to do it, lol.

It runs between $8-$10 but you can usually get Schick coupons in your Sunday paper to take $2-$3 off.

Talk to your surgeon to see what he wants you to do. The instructions I was given were to shave the night before surgery. Others surgeons do it in the OR and don't want us to do it ourselves for risk of a cut that leads to infection.

Shy I am not..Yes, I do shave. If I don't I feel gross. I do it myself and I use the Intuition razor. It works wonderfully..good luck.

Hey Becky,

I do shave, and I do it myself. I use a man's razor. I find they work better for me anyway. I keep saying to myself I am going to go and try getting waxed but haven't gotten the nerve up for that yet. One day I will. Maybe when I get to my goal, I will feel more comfortable. Good luck on your up coming surgery. I hope they get you all fixed they way you want to be.
