Good Morning,

As soon as I post this, I am sure I am going to find another post.  I have been having a difficult time sleeping last few days, but seems that all my friends are early birds so it's not lonely in the morning like it is at night around these parts.

So what is on everyone's agenda today?  As for me, lunch with my BFF, then Dougie is going to get off work early and we have a few errands to run.  It's getting close for him....11 more working days....I cannot wait!!!

Lu, I was wondering how you were feeling?  Are things better with you?  I miss seeing a few people around these parts.  But then that is the way the boards go, but there seems to be a strong base of oldies that stablize the boards.  If you are a newbie, I hope you start to come out of the woodwork and become a poster.  There are some people that want things to go back to the way they were years ago.  Hard for us to have a last supper party when you get on here, and have already had your surgery.  That seems to be the way it runs now.  Get out here and participate so we can get to know you and help you out before your surgery.

Becky is feeling pretty good, lots of pain, but they told her from the beginning that it would be worse this time, that they were really going to tighten things up more. 

Christmas is just around the corner.  It seems we talked about it a few months ago, and then heck, it's upon us.  So much to do so little time.  Oh yeah, so little money too.  I look for forward to presents, I am like a little kid in a candy store for the first time.  I shake packages, try to peek through the wrappings, and put all my stuff in a pile under the tree.  I start on the 24th asking, can we open a gift now, just one!!  This happens every year. 

Ok folks, going to end this now.  Everyone have a great day, enjoy the nice cool weather, I also hear we have some major storm fronts coming our way, finally, maybe an end to this drought.  Have a great day, smile, follow your doctors orders, and spread some cheer around.

We lost a total of 32.6 lbs this week . . . and since it was a holiday week . . . that is pretty darn GREAT!

We still are in need of someone to take over the tracking for next year please!  Let me know and I'll be happy to start you out with a spreadsheet already set up.

Good Morning Diane and Cali Friends!

Happy Thursday to you!  Well yesterday I saw the chiro and he says one of my ribs is pinching a nerve which is causing all this crap woth my shoulder.  I gotta tell you it hurts like a son of a gun and I have a high pain tolerance.  Oh well, I will shut up and sit with my ice.  Kinda sucks when we can do NSAIDS but I'll have to go ask our Director of Pharmacy if there is an alternative.  There are perks to working in a hospital.

Tonight brings a dress rehearsal for our concert tomorrow evening.  Concert should be really good, of course anyone who wants to come, just let me know.  Usually my "groupies"  Ron and Isla are there and sometimes our neighbors too.  Then this weekend we have our Nor Cal potluck, which I'm so excited about. 

Well time to hit the shower and the road to work.

I am so sorry you are hurting so much.  I do take Celebrex without a problem, and I know that others do too.  Maybe you might want to try that.

Good luck tonight, Barb! I love Christmas Concerts! My brother won tickets to go see Brian Setzer and his Orchestra play a Christmas concert. I am trying to get him to give them up for Christmas. We will see what happens. Lol!!

Hey Barb..
Have a great concert!  Ive been having shoulder issues too for several months now going to PT. My MRI showed severe inflamed arthritis.. ick.    Talked to my surgeon doctor on Monday and they said celebrex was ok just like Diane.   However, mentioned should back prevacid daily with it just to be sure to protect for ulcers.   Idk.   Hope you feel better soon!!

HI Diane and Cali,

Today it is cold!!!  Suppose to freeze or something last night.  I never thought I would be cold like this.  It seems I am cold most of the time.  I can't wait for summer. 

Well my director is back and she was OK for two days and is back on the rampage.  My staff is off on vacation and so at least I can take it for them.  I have tomorrow off and am going to try and make a small batch of tamales along with a few other things like study and wrap gifts.  Have to do this while Ms V is gone or she wants to help a little to much!

Here is one of our portraits we had taken this weekend.  We sure clean up OK!  ha ha ha
