Hey Cali,

Well it is official... I have a parking space at my apartment building.  It sure felt good to walk around the corner, drive my car to the building, open the gate and drive Baby inside.  I paid the manager my $50 and then made her sign 3 copies (manager, owner and me) of a parking agreement I had prevlously downloaded and filled out. 

Tonight, I am having dinner with a meetup group, we are having dinner at the Waffle in Hollywood.

Good Morning!
its nice to see so many people in the Holiday mood!   I got good news at the doctor yesterday!  I do have a gigando fibroid (size of a cantalope) but its "penduculated" which means its on a stalk and outside my uterus so.. I am still able to have children without surgery to take it out first. Says my ovaries are perfect and I still have the follicles with egg sacks.. yay!  (prob tmi for some of you but Im happy! )  Of course I can't get pregnant until I lose the weight... and I signed the contract with my surgeonthat I would wait 18 months after surgery but thats ok.. cuz ya.. i need a man to help the process too. lolz  (there is a prospect.. but Im only mentioning that here.. no facebook comments on that one yet please.)

However, Im in a much more positive mood.  Still waiting for pap and mammogram results.  Today I go to the orthopedic surgeon for my shoulder and hoping for a cortisone shot to move this forward.  next week I go for extensive blood tests, xray for my kidneys and a check with my kidney doctor.  After that I think Ive gone to every doctor in the book.  I recheck everything at my rny surgeons office the last week in december and then Im hoping no more doctors for awhile :)

Now.. I just need a job!  I HATE being Broke ass!

haha Diane with the packages . . . which is PRECISELY why I don't put name tags on them . . . sometimes I'll use numbers . . . sometimes I'll use paper . . . and yes I DO forget what is what . . . that's part of the tradition too. 
There is ONE present that my kids STILL talk about out of all the years . . . I was so broke one year (gee . . . I have a theme going on here) . . . and we needed a toilet seat . . . so under the tree it went . . . I can still see their faces!  Had to be jr high/early high school . . . but they loved it!

My kids still talk about the time they each got a $50 bill.  Alex's was inside a 12 pack of pepsi wrapped around a can (he didn't find it for 2 days), Siobhan's was slipped into a pack of socks - she didn't find hers until she tried to put the sock on, and Nicks was on a brick.  Granted the brick had about 6 layers of blue saran wrap around it and I had to privately tell him to look under the wrap.  The big question on his mind was.................have I been THAT bad that all I got was the damn brick out of the old toilet (yes, this is where it came from - the tank of the old potty).  They still talk about it.  They knew it was a brick but didn't know why he was getting a brick for Christmas.

One year I took a BIG box, filled it full of rocks and had my daughter's diamond earrings in it and it was stuffed with old stained socks so nothing moved.  She needed HELP to move that box!  Suprise time!

My friend..you do realize that it is still DARK outside when you wrote this??? If I wake up in the DARK..I turn over, move the dogs down to the bottom of the bed and go back to sleep! LOL  I really am sorry to hear you are suffering insomnia...it's the pits when your mind just won't 'shut off' for a few hours.

Today is a short day at work as I am leaving at 1 to go to the dentist at 2 :-(  Am not looking forward to it...suppose to be just a general cleaning..but I've also got a front tooth that is acting out..really afraid it will turn into a root canal :-(  And because I'm leaving early, just can't seem to get motivated to get any work done...get 'stuck' reading here or playing a quick game of solitaire LOL  Sure hope the Boss, who is 'in' today, doesn't walk in ;-)
