Let's Get This Friday Party Started! Good Morning
Happy Friday Cali Friends,
I'm up early again for my Chiro appt, so I thought I'd get this party started.
Today is Friday and we've waited all week for it! What exciting things are you doing this weekend?
It's Party Central at our house this weekend starting the Holiday Potluck on Sat for the Cali Group so come one come all! Send me a PM with your e-mail and I will send you the scoop. Tonight I am playing in a concert at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, sorry no Christmas music but some great Symphonic band stuff. Sunday my neighbor and I are hosting our 4th annual cookie and ornament exchange, you're all invited if you wish (send me a PM) yes, I'll be making cookies, I may eat a half of one but I really have no desire. I am more interested in the ornament exchange cuz that's fun!
Well I'm late for a very important date with the shower. I hope everyone has a great weekend and do something nice for just you.... you deserve it.

So we had class lastnight and it was GREAT!!!! I almost hit my 40 pounds gone mark,. But I missed it 1.8 pounds to go.
So next week, we get to hear from Gus and another speaker. We are all looking forward to it. Gus our class is nice!!
2 more classes then start the new wait... but its ok.

Good morning Barb and friends,
Boy, I sure wished I lived closer to you...We used to do a cookie and ornament exchange, but it has been years. I loved it...maybe next year I start one up again...have fun tonight and this weekend.
As for me....today I got to work early...I was here by 4:45, I have so much work, but I have to leave at 11 for a doctor appointment with my ps..just a follow up. My last appointment I left without even seeing him. I was there for 2 hours and he still hadn't come in the room. I asked them how much longer and they didn't know, so I told the girl...I have to leave...my time is just as important has his and 2 hours was long enough to wait for an appointment. So, today when I get them I am going to be right up front with them and let them know I will wait an hour, but that is it.
Then I am driving out to get my Grandson from school and also pickup my youngest daughter for the weekend...then I have to go home and bake cookies for a support group meeting tomorrow and wrap more gifts, clean house and do laundry and I will also need to fit in a little work...then on Sunday were going to my oldest daughters house for a bar-b-q for my DH Birthday!!!
Then the weekend if over and back to work...
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful day...

Morning Barb and Cali,
Today is no work!! I have lots to do. I am all set for it, I have my book by my side and the tamale meat cooking right now. I have to read about 2 chapters of very boring stuff-yikes. Hope I can stay awake.
This weekend is the Nor cal Christmas get together and I cannot wait! Ms V is excited she will see her friends Barb and Nancy! Well better get going, I have to go pick up my masa and hit a store before 9. Hope you all have a great day whatever you do!
One more thing, I wanted to thank you all for the great response to my family pic. I must say I am very proud to be Ms V's mom now! I did not want her to have an old fat mommy!!

Haven't posted much - to much going on. I survived Wednesday and the funeral for my friends grand daughter...It was beautiful and so spiritual.....
As for me I have been busy trying to get some gifts for Christmas and not have to be out as it gets closer....also spending alot of time with friends and family both in person and on facebook.
Heres wishing everyone a great Friday....Have fun and have a great weekend.
Reminder - LB coffee will be on Dec 19th rather than on the 26th...I will post a thread as it gets nearer but we will be back at the LB location on Bellflower blvd (where we were last month)

Good Morning Barb and the Cali Group!
I'm headed to San Francisco this morning. We have a Board meeting this afternooon for a little bit and then our Christmas Party. WhooHooo, this is gonna be fun! Tomorrow I am going to try and hit the No Cali group pot luck and get together but we will see how the timing is. I don't know what time I'll be done in SF and do want to be home by the time Joe gets off work. Barb - I'll hit you on your cell if I need directions!
That's about it for me. I'll be on the road and on my IPhone for the next 36 hours! Have fun, Take your Vitamins, Drink your Water and make sure you Dance like nobody's watching!!!!!

Sitting in my office, the place is empty, at least for a little while anyway. The 'boys' are either sick or out of town at meetings which means the Office mgr and myself will be the only ones here today...yippeee!!!
Expect a quiet day today and this evening. Started carving Christmas ornaments last nite for party gifts exchanges and will finish them up tonight. Might even make myself a couple of new ones for our tree....geee...make some for myself and keep them...what a concept LOL I'm also crocheting a baby blanket for Brianna...thinking of attempting matching booties but we will see about that after I get the blanket completed.
Saturday is No Cali potluck at Barb's...that is going to be so much fun! Sure hope all who are thinking about attending..do..the more the merrier!! What a great way to get support and encouragment to stay on track as we enter a very tempting season. Sunday is kick-back day...might rearrange the furniture so we can enjoy the fireplace this year..but not planning much else other than spending the day with Lon...I don't get enough 'together' time...work just gets in the way :-(
Time to get to work...Becky, Naomi and Jean...I am thinking of you and hope you are all doing better. Physically and emotionally ^_^ Chris, Rhonda, Michelle, and all the rest of you who haven't posted yet this morning...have a great day and hope you stop by sometime this weekend!

Not a lot going on with me this weekend. I am donating platelets tomorrow morning. I get to watch a movie. Yay! Sunday, I will be going for a 6 mile run (did I say that? please don't tell Fake A$$ Lola that I said that.)
I am going to try to make it to church.
