Good Morning Barb and Cali,

Wow I think I just caught up on all my sleep.  I have been awake since 0730 which beats the 0430 I have been doing the last couple of mornings.  I love this weather, if it could just stay this way, not colder and not warmer all the time.  It's just perfect for everything, especially sleeping under the blankey!

Doug has some work that he needs to do today for his retirement, but his boss is just such an ass.  When he called in this morning, his boss gave him a hard time about taking off.  Geesh the guy needs to chill out, in 2 weeks, Doug is done, give the poor man a break.  I am wanting to give his boss a "bad boss" award at Doug's retirement, but out of respect for Doug, I will sit there and not say anything to his boss on what an ass he has been.  Those that know me, know how difficult that will be for me.

So good to see people in the spirit of Christmas.  Barb your party sounds like so much fun, that is a great idea.  Especially the cookie part!  Yummy!!! Speaking of cookies, Michele, Doug nd I made it home with 4 cookies in the plate.  Thank you so much for taking the time and making those.  There was a cookie trail from your house to mine,  Thanks so much again.

Good Morning Barb and Cali Crew!

I hope the Nor Cal Crew has a wonderful Holiday Potluck, and those that can make the trek up there from So Cal. Hey, symphonic band music is awesome! I grew up going to concerts at the Hollywood Bowl watching my aunt perform (she plays bass, as well), Have fun at the cookie and ornament exchange.
Last night, I went to the "huge" Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony for the City of Hesperia. I went with my brother and my nephew. We had a great time. It was sponsored by the Fire Dept, (thought of Doug and Diane) so we got to see Sparky the firedog. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived on a firetruck. They gave away free hot cocoa and kettle corn(thought of Gus)! Smelled wonderful, but I was good. Listened to some of the school choirs (thought of Katt) sing Christmas songs and watched the state assemblyman(thought of msblues) push the button to light the tree..... what? Nothing! It didn't work!! About 45 seconds later, The tree lit up!! Whew! Crisis averted! Lol. It was freezing last night, about 20 degrees! Well thats what it felt like! Enjoyed family and friends (thought of all of you)!
This weekend, not sure what it will bring, but whatever it is, I will make it the best day I can. I hope everybody has a wonderful day and a great weekend! Be happy and smile and be thankful that you are alive!

TGIF and did I say TGIF.  Made it through another week.  Our computers are down again this morning.  I can get on the internet, but none of our programs are coming up.  I sure hope the IT guys can figure this out.  It's really getting annoying.

So today brings on the countdown to 4PM for me.  I'm only working until 4 as I have a hair appointment then.  Time for color and cut.  Makes me feel like a new woman.  Then I get the cute guy at home to take me out to dinner.  Can't waste a perfectly good hairstyling.

Tomorrow will probably bring some shopping during the day and then my office Christmas party in the evening. Wi**** wasn't on a Saturday night, but that is when the bosses decided to have it. Oh well, that's the way it is I guess.

Sunday I'm not sure about yet.  I think Mike might be going to a bike show.  I might go up to my sister's to pick up my cross stitch that I left there on Thanksgiving and then on the way back maybe stop at my son's for lunch or dinner.  Have to see what everyone's plans are I guess.

OK, time to get another cup of coffee and then I guess play some computer games until the IT guys figure out what is wrong yet again.  Hope everyone has a great great great day and an even better weekend.

Barb, I hope you have a great time hosting the potluck. I am still in the mode of helping my mom during the weekends.

I am so glad it's Friday. I had the stomach flu for a few days and felt like a truck hit me. Just as the stomach flu went away, I wa**** with one of the worst allergy attacks I've had in years. Plus I had a 13 hour word day yesterday because we hosted a town hall meeting in the evening. Today I am going to be meeting with angry people who will want to yell at me about every ill in society. 5 pm can't come soon enough!!

Good Morning Barb,
I will be partying it up with you at the Holiday Potluck!  Okay I WISH!  It looks like my plans for moving are getting closer and closer. 

I am working tomorrow, well not working but will be in a CPR/1st Aid training all day and than I think I am going to go to the HOliday Light Festival on Saturday evening with my lil man.

Sunday is suppose to be 12 miles but I haven't run all week and I am wondering if I can do it.  Gosh I have the December BLUES!
