I have been feeling a little sluggish the last couple of days so I asked my DH to take my blood pressure and it was 102/60,  I am going to go off my BP med and see if it stays that way.  I have already cut it down by half.  I hope I can stop it now!  I see my surgeon on Monday and will discuss it with him.

Sounds like a WOW moment to me!  It is great what we can do without nowadays.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

It could be a wow moment in the making!!!!!  I hope that they take you all off of the meds.  I was able to get rid of mine right away, and we are going on 3 years in a few days and I still have excellent blood pressure!  Just hang in there till Monday, and we will celebrate then if he gets you off of it.  Even if he cuts in half what you are taking now,,,,we wil party~!

Thanks my friends!  I am not going to take it for the next couple of days so I can see how I am doing before I see him.

Hey Elizabeth...way to go!  I preface my words with 'I'm not a doctor'..but.....I did exactly what you are doing now ;-)  I cut my BP meds in half at about 3 mos post-op and in September 5 mos)I quit taking them altogether.  My primary doc told me 'you'll know when to quit them...when you get dizzy, lightheaded and foggy'.  Well, about the time my BP started staying around 117/68, I got all 3.  I stopped taking the lisinopril and have maintained BP on average around 122/70.  I sent an email to my primary just to advise him and he said 'okey-dokey' LOL

This WOW moment was a huge milestone for me...BP was the only 'issue' I had because of my weight...now I'm med free and proud of it! ^_^

Congratulations Elizabeth!  You are doing great!!!

That is exactly what my BP was today!  I had those same symptoms too.  Boy is this surgery great or what!
