Good Morning Calif......Welcome to this wonderful Saturday Morning......

I woke up this morning at 230 and just laid in bed. OMG! I am going to die today at work. Good thing I am off tomorrow for the Loma Linda 5K.

Yap tomorrow I am running/walking the Holiday classic with my friend then after the run, at about 3, I am going to work a bracelet making booth for the kids  at the "Candle Lighting". It for the kids that have cancer and want to make gifts for there families. How sweet is that? I can't wait to meet some the bravest kids around. My union asked me to help out with time at the booth. Just so happens that I am running the race in Loma Linda and that there are setting up a booth at Loma Linda Hospital. Should make for a good day.

How am I feeling. Early mornings and late evening are the worst. Gets my chest all rattling and all that junk. But I was able to spend the day wondering around Knotts on Thrusday and I had no problems. I love the price right now. FREE!!!! I hope I get the chance to go agian, before the 20th

Well time to shower and get me some coffee and start my day. I might need to hook up the IV for the coffee since I didn't sleep very good last night. UGH! I wish you all a great day.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

I am up cuz my shoulder started hurting and I decided to come sit with some ice on it rather than lying in bed awake. UGH I hate this stuff.  Lu, that's wonderful that you are helping the kids out, what a great thing for them to look forward to doing.  Good luck with your race too.

Last night was so much fun, we did a rip snorter of a concert and it was some nice played music.  I had my ever present "groupies" Ron and Isla and they loved it, so that is the best indicator  as they both have musical ears.

Today we'll be putting up the yard art and I will get pics but want to also get pics of it at night because it's a little more special to me then with the lights on it.  Then we have our Holiday Potluck and it looks like we're gonna have about 20 people, so I know we're all going to have the BEST time together.  It's never to late to come, so if you're intersted, send me a PM.

Tomorrow is another party, my neighbor and I will host our 4th annual cookie and ornament exchange.  So, I will get up early and make cookies.  I am so lucky to have a husband who enjoys entertaining and he, bless his heart, has done everything for this weekend but clean the bathrooms!  He is a jewel among men I'll tell you.

Well, I guess I should scoot and get myself moving.  Lots to do.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend with whatever you're doing and that you find some time for you.

Today is very busy, got to go to the bank and get some other things done before the Nor Cal Christmas get together.  I am so excited to get to see Barb's yard in person!!  I know Ms V will be so excited.

Good morning LuLu and Cali! I hope everyone has a great day. I am up early because my BIL's memorial is today. It will be a very sad and emotional day for the family, especially his three kids. I wrote his obituary and created the memorial cards. I will also be doing a reading at the memrial titled 'How do you live your Dash?', which will also be posted on my profile if anyone would like to read it. Then tonight I have a music ministry Christmas party at church, which is always a lot of fun. Well, gotta scoot. Time to get in the shower. Good morning Lu and California!

Lu you are going to have a blast with those kids!  Once I year I volunteer at a children's alumni weekend at a drug and alcohol hospital and we do arts and craft activities.  They love the beading ones the best!

Barb it sounds like your weekend is going to be so much fun.  I wish I was up north so I could come to the potluck...

I am going to go to Home Depot and shop for Holiday Ornaments for the Christmas Tree at work.  We just finished a new building and I was asked to be in charge of decorating the tree that will be featured there so I gotta get started!  I love shopping with other people's money!

Other than that I will be cleaning, laundering and planning meals.  I went back to work last week after 6 weeks off for my surgery and I am seeing I really need to be prepared as far as my meals are concerned so I want to get a jump on that.

Morning Lu and Cali Friends

Today is a busy one...but going to be so much fun.  It is well worth the 2 hours drive..good friends and good food ^_^  Tomorrow I hope to get out to the Sacramento-California International Marathon..where our own MacMadam is participating and cheer her on.

Good morning Lu and all of California,

Wow, did I sleep late this morning.  I got up at 7AM because I've been getting cramps in my legs again.  It's either B12, calcium or dehydration.  I know the drill and don't do what I'm supposed to.  Shame on me.  Well I've got to start being more aware of what I'm doing. Then I went back to bed after the cramping let up and slept until after 10AM.  WOW.

Got my hair done last night and it looks so cute.  Mike and I went to dinner after at a restaurant called Castaways.  OMG, who would think in San BernaGHETTO there would be a gem like this.  Mike had been there years ago and we always talked about going but never got around to it.  Well it is perched up above the city with floor to ceiling windows throughout and views one only dreams about.  And the food, OMG we both had steak and it was by far the best meal we've had in ages.  We have been trying to decide what to do New Year's Eve and I think that is going to be it.  They don't have their package ready yet but it usually consists of dinner and drinks.  They also have a band they bring in.  They have the main dinning room and then they have all these catering rooms as well and the entire place is open for their NYE celebration.  We've been racking our brains trying to figure out what to do.  Mike wanted someplace to be able to look at the stars.  A hilltop or the beach.  But he also didn't want to freeze his butt off.  So this will fit the bill on all avenues.  A wonderful dinner, nice music, some wine and the night sky with the lights of the city below. I really can't wait.

Anyway, today or rather tonight brings my firm's Christmas party.  It's, as usual, at one of your bosses houses.  They have it catered and we just all mill about eating, talking and playing a gift giving game.  Tomorrow I'm not sure about, but I might go out to see my son.

Lu, I'd still like to try to do Knott's with you but I honestly don't know when I can or if our schedules would mesh.  Oh well, we'll still have Disney.  You owe me a day there.

OK, off to try to get this day started.  Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
