Good Morning Calif.... Or should that be Brrrrr Morning...

Shoot Howdy its cold this morning. Sometimes its just to cold to be good for you. I think today is one of them days. But once I heard on the news how some people where trapped on the Grape Vine, I guess its not that bad. Per the news right now its 41 degrees. Dang!! I feel for them stuck sitting in there car. UGH!! Right now, I bet you could make a ton of money selling Hot Chocolate and blankets, the only bad thing would be you would have to be out in the cold to sell the stuff. Brrrrrr

I didn't read much of the baords yesterday, so I don't know what is going. Today is my day off and I am going into work, UGH!!! You know I was willing the phone to ring and for them to call me off. Not such luck this morning. Dang it!

So how you was your monday? Mine was good. Slow enough to get my stuff done, and get fast enough to keep time moving. You know what I mean?  I am not sure why I am working today, who is off but they can't be sick, since this is a planned Over time day.

Good Morning Lu and California,,,

hope all is well with everyone. Here in TN  it is very cold. so cold that i have to wear layers of clothing and gloves and socks.
It acturally snowed here the day before yesterday, i went out to go to work and i opened my door and my car was completly covered in snow. I  was like wow, my first snow living in it but it was freezing ,its suppose to get to 40 degrees if not lower tonight and rain and wind. I dont know about all this im missing california lots ,not just the weather reason but because of my friends and family .

I am trying to get back on track regards to my weight loss and stuff .  I had lab work done and it shows i have a vitamin deficency in vitamin D , not sure what that does but im sure its major importance, right?
anyways, better get going , here at the career center looking for another job. i may be moving out of chattanooga area and going to nashville or atlanta ,not sure yet or i may come back west i havent decided yet , it depends on the money situration.
i was in the hospital er a few times in the past month , this dr gave me a prescription that interacted with some of my anti depressents, and i had my presc.bottles with me of what i take and the presc. she gave me interacted and made me get serotonin syndrom not sure what that is but i heard its not good. i was shaking like i was having ceseasures .. it was that bad.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

BRRR is right, my thermometer says 30 degrees OMG we never see it that cold here.  I heard on the news last night it was going to get into the 20's overnight.  My citrus is toast!

No chiro today, and I will probably have to make an appt with my Dr cuz the shoulder pain and arm numbness isn't going away (especially at night).  The chiro said we might see about doing an MRI to see what's going on.  I think that's a good idea cuz I refuse to live like this anymore and I won't keep popping Tylenol forever nor any other pain meds.  I'm stubborn that way, especially now that I can choose the meds I take (vitamins and allergy pills)!

Well perhaps some shopping is in order tonight albeit a little cold outside, but I think Isla and I have a few more things to buy and we'll be officially done and wrapped for the season.

Time to hop in the shower and get the day started.  I hope whatever you do, it's fun and warm.

I heard my heating going on all night!  We do not have it set that high so I guess it was really really cold!!!  I am sleeping in layers, very sexy-not!!  Had a good day yesterday catching up with my staff from their vacation's. 

Well better get hopping, have to shower and run to the bank before I head out of town.  Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Lu and the Cali Crew!!!

I agree with everyone.....ITS COLD!!!   We even got snow fall yesterday evening here in the high desert.  It didn't stick but it did bring the temp down.  It was 27 this morning when I got to work at 5:15 am.  I am still walking to work everyday and there were patches of ice on the sidwalk this morning.  I had to be careful where I walked.  I really don't want to slip and fall.  Thank God my mom sent me a box of shoes that she picked up at some kind of sale.  She sent me like 7 new pairs of shoes.  She knows that I walk everywhere so she sent me some brand new Adidas shoes.  I wore them this morning and they are so comfortable and I think it will help my back some too.  I was able to walk a little faster this morning but that also could have been because I was freezing my tush off...lol.  Thank God for the heater on under my desk right now.  It does help but I have to share when the other girls get in the office.  I need to get my own.

Nothing planned for today except work and then just go home to get warm.  Have a great day everyone and do all you can to stay warm today!!!!

OOOh the cold, and this comming from someone who works in Anaheim. Let me tell you walking into my work today my legs were darn near numb. I am used to warmer temps around here.  So yesterday was a normal day my boy went off to Karate riht after I got home from work, dinner was good and work was slightly shorter.

Barb I hope the pain is fixed and soon. And I am just as picky on the meds I take as well.

Stacie why with the walking in the way to cold of temps??? I mean I understand walking = exercise but not in this cold weather.

No car at the moment and I got to get to work.  Hopefully, this won't be for much longer.  I am working on getting a car when I get my income tax back next month.  Believe me....if I didn't have to walk in this darn cold weather at 5:00 am in the morning I wouldn't.  At least I only live a couple of blocks from work.  It only takes about 10 minutes depending on how my back feels.  Sometimes, I have to stop and stretch out my back.  This morning wasn't too bad but the cold is a good motivator to walk faster.

BRRRR! is definitely right folks!!

Another day of sitting inside looking OUTSIDE - but I forgot to leave my heater on so I woke up shivering haha ... oops!

Good Brrrrr Morning....

Dang, could it have been any colder this morning.  Mike left before me and then came back in and asked if I wanted him to start my car.  I said no because I wasn't leaving for another 30 to 40 minutes.  Well next time I'll say yes.  First I couldn't open my car doors.  They were froze shut. Then the engine didn't want to turn over.  It was too cold.  Then the auto windows wouldn't open.  Frozen.  I had to sit there for about 15 minutes waiting for the car to heat up so I could get the ice off the windows so I could drive.  It's days like this that remind me why I do not live back east anymore.  This is an everyday occurance back there with only one exception.  Tons of snow on the ground.  That beach house in MA is just so tempting to want to live in, but let me think....no...there is snow there.

No big plans today.  Work Work and then more work.  Home after work.  Dinner, TV, sleep.  Repeat process tomorrow. Boring!! Oh well, I guess everyday can't be full of things to do.  I'd be very tired then.

Time to get busy.  I have a 9:45 doctor's appointment.  Hope everyone has a great day.  I know it's warming up now, but stay warm tonight.
