Good Morning Thursday! Gus only 1 more DAY!

Good Morning all!

Got up a bit early this morning and thought...... you know what I need to touch base here on OH!  I have been so busy this HOliday season.  With all these kids and all the pagents and Christmas parties and events and crafts and gifts and wrapping and teacher helper stuff, I am pooped!  This is a good pooped though. 

Life is good this year, I feel so blessed to have so much to celebrate this year.  I am thinner, I am way healthier,  I have awesome friends, I have beautiful happy children that make me laugh!  I have an awesome dog and wonderful husband and a job that I love and I am really good at.  I feel like I play all day!  It is not perfect, nothing is, but I get to choose what I do and I love that.

So how is everyone doing this Holiday season?  I know this can be a hard time of year for many of us.  I know it is for me.  Lots happened when I was a child during this time of year.  But I get to make a choice if I want to overcome that or wallow in it.  I choose to overcome!  I need to remember that this is the season of Love and Forgiveness.  That is what I am focusing on this year.  I already feel that this is going to be the best Christmas season for me, EVER!  REALLY THE BEST!  The reason is because I choose it to be the best.  I will love, I will forgive, I will look for the best in everything and I will laugh till I pee my pants.  Who wants to join me in this?  I have WINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I can't wait to hear what all of your plans for the holidays are.  Enjoy all and Make today exactly what you want it to be.

hey thre cali buds....I have to say ditto to what Rhonda said.....this IS for sure going to be the best ever....and yes the holidays are hard for me without my parents but I know theyare with me in spirit and looking down on me so proud that I am thinner and healthier and having a wonderful life....although I amsure mydad is wanting tokick my butt becaues I shop way to much and spend tomuch money bot oh well...sorry daddy I promise next year I will be better...lol

I too have so so much to be thankful for.....good life awesome friends and super family.....

I am freezing this morning and am tryingto figure out how I can put gloves on and still type - don't think that is gonna happen ..lol

Anyway gotta run and get another cup of coffee to warm up these old bones...

Rhonda I've missed you girlfriend, so good so see you're smilin' face in the morning.  I totally agree this will be a wonderful Christmas and you're right I could wallow in depression or rise above and count my blessings, I certainly choose to do the latter.

OMG, I looked at some before pics last night and had a wow moment and thought, huh, I guess I really do look thinner!  Heaven's knows I feel better.  This Sat. I have my family Christmas party.  I have not seen many of my cousins and one uncle since last Christmas and they have NO IDEA I had surgery.  They're gonna be shocked!

Thank goodness it's almost the weekend, I need some brain resting time.

Well better scoot and head to the shower and start my day. It's a brisk 37 out today.  BBBRRR.

I was not sure this was the morning post for everyone, since you called out Gus. I almost started my own morning post for all. Then, something made me pop in and read this post. Now I am happy I did.

Good Morning Calif.

Yesterday was my only day off this week, and the staffing person had the nerves to call and see if I would work 3-11, and seemed to get mad when I told her no, and explained that I needed one day off. Give me a break.

I woke up late this morning but was greeting with a great pot of decaf coffee, hot and ready to drink. I love my coffee.........:-D

OK time to get in the shower and start my day. I wish you all a great day. Be smart in all you do.

Glad you popped in too LU!  You know you gotta remind Gus that the weekend is coming God Forbid he forgets!  lol   Good for you Lu stand up for your rest we all need a little break!  Hey I love breaks wish I could get one soon.  But a big one is coming and I can't wait.  Tell DD Hi for me I miss seeing her, I think of her often and she stays in my prayers.  Tell her Lexie asked about her last week, and I told her maybe we would see her at a coffee or something soon (HINT HINT).  Hope you have an awesome day.

Morning Rhonda and Cali!

Well I think we have some WWW slackers this week (like I should talk???) . . .we only had 13 posts yesterday . .. BUT we lost a total of 15 lbs!  Not bad for a small group!

Had my 2 years check up . . .the dang doctor wasn't even there . . . and the PA said "I can try to access the port again" . . . NOT . .. I not paying $200 for a "maybe" .  . . so she said you can come back next month . . .and I said make it 6 unless I have issues . . . $30 to walk in the door . . . just for fun?  don't think so!  However - my bloodwork was perfect .  . . so I'm happy . ..

Christmas .  . . other than going to see the grandbabies . . . not much of  a hoopla at all - but then my whole life isn't at the moment - but it goes on . . .

Good morning Rhonda and Cali,

Today is very cold again!  And jean I was typing with gloves on yesterday and the day before.  Good thing I use a mouse because the touch pad on the laptop would not sense my finger with the glove on!

Had a nice dinner with my staff last night, met them at sizzler me and Ms V share a meal and it is just the perfect size for both of us!  I Have to pick up the portraits from Sears today and then can get some more boxes in the mail.  Just waiting for those to stuff in the frames.

Well better get hopping.  DH and Ms V just left so I can get ready now.  Have a wonderful day.

Good Morning Rhonda and the Cali Crew!!

I am not feeling well today I really don't want to be at work but I have to be.  I can't afford to take a day off.  It really sucks not having benefits sometimes.  I am looking for a job that has them so I can take a day off if I am not feeling well.

Nothing planned today except work and then go home and crash.  I spent all night coughing so I didn't get much sleep last night.  It is a slow day at work today so the day will drag today.

Good morning Rhonda, you perky little cheerleader you.  Notice the use of the word little.  That is because you are.

Not much on tap for today...just work.  Started some new meds today that the doctor gave me yesterday.  She thinks that the hormones I have been on might not be absorbing into my system as well as they should.  Being that they are synthetic, there is no way to test my levels.  So she switched me up to something else that is a spray I put on my skin and a cream I rub into my skin.  Guess we'll see how that all works.  All I know is that I need to get some sleep.  This nightly ritual of 2 or 3 hours is just not cutting it for me and I really don't want to get into the habit of relying on sleeping pills.  I am going to try seratonin tonight though and see if that helps.

I am almost done shopping.  Just need to pick up something for my brother in law and niece and get my son and his girlfriend the Annual Disney Passes I'm buying them.  But that will have to wait until pay day on the 20th.  Good thing I can buy them online and print off the ticket voucher to give them.  Mike is all taken care of.  Also just need to get my little gifts for my office.  We all exchange small gifts each year.  Christmas day will be spent at my son's place.  I think it will be nice as it will just be the 4 of us.  Mandy will cook her specialty pot roast that Mike thinks is the best thing in the world and I'll bring some dessert.  I think it will be a very relaxing day.  I'm really looking forward to it.
