We made it, another weekend is upon us,,,,,

What's on tap for your weekend?  Have you been naughty or nice?

For me, I have our annual family christmas party in San Jose, always fun and boy will they be surprised to see me.  They do not know I had surgery and 127 lbs lighter might just turn a few heads eh?  Then Sunday brings brunch at my bosses house in the morning and finishing me knotted throw for Ron for Christmas.

I've been mostly nice with a little naughty mixed in when appropriate!  LOL

Ok, gotta hit the shower and start the day with the Chiro.

It is finally Friday!  Its raining and its time for a good cup of coffee and I hope it rains all day.  I have another training today and will be looking at the clock wishing it to be 3pm so I can

Morning Barb and Cali,

Today is a short day for me.  Ms V has to be picked up early.  I think I will take her Christmas shopping for her to buy her gifts for grandma and grandpa.  She is so lucky she has 3 grandma's and 2 grandpa's.  I only ever had a grandma.  I love her dearly and she is 94 this February still living in her own house.  I hope the gene pool of hers made it to me so I can enjoy life to its fullest!!

Well better get going, I had to do some work already before heading out to the site.  We have our close out meeting today and I had to get the paperwork ready so I don't have to print it when I get there.  Never know how the traffic is going to be.

Good Morning Barb,

I am sitting on the couch, watching the Today show, drinking my coffee waiting for Molly Maids to show up and clean my house for me. My Christmas present to myself. I could do it, I know, but hey, I don't want too.  So I am being lazy.  After they get here, I am off to the gym to meet my trainer and get my ass kicked. I have been bad about working out. I need to kick start my workouts again. I have a bunch of running around to do. At work, we adopted a family, so I am going to buy some xmas presents today for them. I have a couple of parties to go to this weekend. Which should be fun. Not much else going on around here. I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday.

Today is work..whenever I get off this site and actually START working LOL and then a full weekend of carving beginning at 6pm tonight.  Saturday and Sunday will be full days, beginning at 8am until 5pm...all carving. Sounds tedious..but we have so much fun with this particular instructor...he entertains us with his stories about prior class attendees all over the country.  Time just seems to fly by.

Not much else going on...I'm too mentally pooped when I get home after class...so will probably grab dinner and afterwards, fall asleep in my chair. LOL

Hope everyone enjoys the rain...hubby thinks I'm crazy cus I just LOVE the rain! ^_^

Good morning!  Yep.. made it to the weekend!  Hoooray!!! Ive been mostly naughty this year, I can't help it.. I'm just drawn that way

Im looking forward to a fun weekend. Tonight is our firm's holiday party at the St. Regis in SF.  Michael and I are spending the night in the swanky high rise.. i have a new outfit with sky high red suede shoes and am so excited.  Those from our LA office haven't seen me in a year if I didn't run into them at Disneyland.. so that will be fun, and just seeing everyone outside of work is fun.  Plus dinner is gourmet and very small portions.. so that's right up my alley!!! and there will be Dancing!  I love to dance!  I love Christmas in San Francisco!!!!

Tomorrow we are sleeping in... I keep imagining how comfy the beds are and how luxurious the room bathroom and shower must be at the St. Regis... so we will luxuriate and enjoy ourselves to the last possible minute before swinging back into the East Bay and weekend chores.  I endeavor to avoid holiday shopping this weekend though may shop a bit online... also planning a visit to my parents and the unavoidable grocery store trip.... .... ...  and recharge for the coming week!

Thank God it is Friday.  That's all I have to say about it.  It's been one heck of a week for me!  OT for days!!!!

Puppies are doing great.  I moved them out of the whelping box into the back room to their new larger potato box and play yard.  They had a hard time adjusting and were whining and crying a lot. So I crawled in the box with them and was playing.  I was rubbing Dutchesses chin when Brutis came over and bit her ear pulling her away and moving in for the rubbs.   They're starting to develop personalities.  Dutchess, bless her little heart just moved on in away from her brother and snuggled in a nook in my lap.  I'm gonna miss this little one............but I know she's going to one fantastic home where there's lots of love and hugs and squeezies to be had. 

Tomorrow we're heading over the hil to Jayden's birthday party, hooking up with Joe's 2 older kids, meeting their boyfriend / girlfriend and visiting friends.  We will have a snowy slog over.  But Joe + a truck + snow always = a fun time!  I'm sure we'll go slip-sliding somewhere on purpose!

We had snow spitting here this morning.  Nothing stuck but it sure was pretty falling.

Wow alot is happening on this day.  It's been 3 years since my surgery, 170 lbs lighter and still with the dream of being in my 100s, which will happen someday.  If not I am so happy where I am at.  Today is Dougs unofficial last day at work.  He is officially retired next week, but I have two doctors appts next week, and then 2 parties next week, next Friday we have fun planned and then Sat, we have a day and evening planned, so for this weekend, NOTHING, we are doing NOTHING.  I need sleep all weekend. What a better weekend to stay in bed.....its goin rain all weekend. 

Doug has 3 1/2 hours left of work, I told him to celebrate, I told him I would dance naked on top of our bed!!!  Hummmm I hope he forgets, because it really will be ugly.....skin to my ankles, not a pretty sight, but he says it's just part of me, I would rather it be part of some plastic surgeons table, ever wonder what they do with that skin, where does it go, what in the hell do they do with it.

What great news to hear you are returning up to speed...getting out and enjoying life!  Congrats to both of you!..You--3rd surgiversary and Doug..for Retiring!! ^_^
