Good Soggy Sunday

I know as I type this someone else is typing also, but I'll take the chance and say good morning?  Did everyone survive the downpours yesterday?  We had a party last night and by the time we parked the car and walked down the street to get to the house, I had stepped in puddles up to my knees and looked like a drowned rat.  I was soaked through and through, not to mention, then I was freezing.  I was just not a happy girl.  We stayed till about 10 and I was just still so uncomfortable that we left.  Oh well, looks like the sun is trying to come out this morning.

Today brings us to the computer fair and lunch with my son.  Should be a nice morning/afternoon.  When I get home, I'll probably throw a load of laundry in.

So what is on all your agenda's for today.  I hope something fun.  After running around all day yesterday in the rain, if you are rain free today, be sure to take advantage of it.

I think I'm going to go make some coffee or go back to bed for a bit.  I'm undecided on that one. Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning!!!

Well yesterday I was gone allllll day. We had a Christmas dinner at church and as I'm marrying into the pastor's family, I was helping out in the kitchen!! We also had a white elephant gift exchange, always fun!!

Today we have our worship services, morning and then again tonight. Going to eat lunch with that same wonderful family then come home and take a nap with my man =). After church this evening - gotta finish my homework!

Off to school tomorrow so I probably won't be posting. February 9th is my surgeon consult - already got the psych. eval. out of the way.. passed with flying colours!! He said it should go right through on my insurance!...we shall see!! Woot ^_^

Good Morning Stephine and Top of the Morning to the rest of you wonderful peeps...

Yesterday after 8 hours of scrubing charts at work, my hand and arms are weak and sore today. UGH!  But DANG! them charts look GOOOD....Well most of them look good, some of the them the only thing that would fix them is a fire they are just to gross and the only thing to help is new charts. But that is upto the pocket book of the hospital.

Today I will be going over to spend some time with Aunt Mo and pick up some stuff from her. On tuesday she is having this thing done to her back. It sounds like they are going to inject some bondo type stuff into the small cracks in her back, she has like 4 of them. A friend of hers had it done, and was able to WALK out of the doctor office after just 1 hour. Aunt Mo is really look forward to it. I hope it works as well for her, as it did her friend. When I go over to her house tonight, maybe I will get more info and tell you all more about.
Other then that, my day will be filled with laundry and house cleaning.

Good Morning Stephanie and all California!
I am on my way to a 10 yr tradition of a yearly Christmas brunch with a group of ladies from an old chat room on AOL.  We have a blast...what goes on at brunch...stays at bunch..lol
I've missed the last two years...tradition states, if you miss a year, you have to accept the stories they said about you...true of false (and they make up some doozies!!) the previous year....Man, am I in for it but good!!..lol'

Yesterday was cold and wet. I worked all day in a skirt, and nylons.... BURRRRR
Lastnight I went to a girlfriends house for a cookie exchange and had a wonderful time. People around my house had parties and took all of our parking. Thankfully I live across the street from a WalMart and so I parked over there. By the time I got into my house, I was soaked and I had an umbrella!!!

Hi Steph and all,

I was out Christmas shopping during the downpour yesterday.  Pulling into the lot at the dollar store was like driving into a pond. I was grateful for my rain boots!

Everysince my mom has had her cancer return, my weekends require me to run my errands on Saturday while I run them for her on Sunday. I have to admit I am getting tired of this, but I know my mom needs my help. Luckily she's getting more and more independent as she heals from the last surgery. She still is nervous to go out by herself so here I am!! I just feel overwhelmed and tired all the time. It's a good thing I get a long with my mom!!

Good morning Stephanie and Cali,

when I was on erly this morning (3:45) there was not post.  Then got to doing other things and we were out of the house by 8.  Had breakfast and went to church.  Going again in an hour for the Christmas concert.  I know it will be grand.

Not much else going on, I cleaned out some more clothes (5 boxes worth) and did 3 loads of laundry yesterday.  DH was no help at all he watched TV and at least he did a little shopping.  That is Ok, he had a hard week.

Good evening Steph and Cali. Yesterday was the IE/Redlands Coffee. It was a wonderful time. It was a small, intimate group, so we were inside Starbucks. Lots of fun. Then last night I had a cookie exchange.potluck dinner with some ladies from the area Freecycle groups/Inland Empire Freecycle Cafe. It was a lot of fun. I made Tollhouse choc chip cookies and 2 batches of fudge (semi-sweet and dark choc). They went over really well. One of the ladies brought this Peruvian steak di**** was sooo good!! She also brought fresh tamales that he mom had made yesterday. They were yummy too. Today brought church and just kicking back at home. I got caught in all the rain yesterday and last night. So glad it cleared up today. I hope everyone is having a relaxing evening. x0x0x0
