Good Morning
Welcome to toe tapping Tuesday you wonderful peeps...........
Yesterday I went to a friends house and we baked. We made 7 pounds of peanut brittle, 4 pounds of fudge and millions of cookie and stuff covered in chocolate. (peanut, and peanut butter) It took us all day and talked so much and laughed. Friends stopped by and visited and pick at the treats and left with smiles. It was a WONDERFUL DAY. I was so proud of myself. When I got home, my sister made test my blood sugars. 96!!! I told her we didn't eat that much AND we took small breaks, and we would take a walk around the park where she lives. This morning, it was 112.
So what did you do yesterday? Did you have as much fun as we did? Did you have the chance to visit with family and friends like we did?
Tomorrow is DD birthday. She is going to be OLD! So on Thursday I am going to take her and my other sister out to dinner (my other sisters birthday was the 2nd) I am taking them to a steak house they both like and I know they are going to love it. I was thinking I would call ahead and tell them we going to be there, and its there birthday. Cause I will be shot if I tell them when my sisters might find out but I have be theated with DEATH if I do that. Anyone want to make a phone call for me? ROLMAO!!!!
The other night when I went visited with Anut Mo, she gave me some stuff. I was showing it to my friend and when I lefted the lid on the box, I thought I was in a bar. OMG the smell of smoke was over powering. I had to wa**** twice and I am hoping the smell comes out. Other wise I will need to take and get it cleaned. OMG I use to smell like that???? Oh never agian!! It is way gross!!! Toss your cookies gross.

Sounds like you had a great time yesterday! So much fun to do those types of things with friends. I had a fun weekend and another fun one planned, so all is good.
I do have to run this morning, I am going to make soup in my crock pot for dinner, so I need to get scooting for that.

Well I made it through Monday only two more days to go. Obama gave us an additional 4 hours off for Christmas so I only have until Wednesday to work now!! We are going to the city tonight to pick up Ms v and celebrate DH's b-day! We have a lovely weekend planned for his b-day. going to ride the Christmas train in Woodland and stay in Sacramento for the weekend. I think I will take him to dinner in old town there are a few good restaurant there.

Lu........put 1/2 cup of white vinegar in the wash water. That'll take the smell out pronto. I know when my kids used to go to their dads I had to wash everything including the duffle bags in white vinegar. Sour towels, never again! White vinegar to the rescue! I buy that stuff by the GALLON! Trust Super Mo on this!
Morning all! I had such a wonderful evening last night. I made fleece blankies, hung out with the doggies and taught the puppies how to drink supplemental formula from a bowl. They were lapping that stuff up like it was candy!
I showed off the puppies and got a reservation for a chocolate male puppy! That means all the chocolate males are spoken for, and still have 2 chocolate females available and 3 black males. They're going fast!
Tonight brings 3 more puppy visitors. More blankies to sew so I can get a box off in the mail. I also have a few more presents to buy. We're having a mega dinner at our house on the 26th so.......28+ people. I have tables, but NEED CHAIRS!!!!!

Mmmmmmm cookies. I used to bake like a fiend. That was before motherhood which is a shame because I should have been baking like a crazy woman for my kid. But between being a single mom and working full time, I was lucky to feed him dinner at night. No worse for the wear though. I still bake a little now. Mostly brownies for the "grown up" kid. Whenever there is a holiday or just a get together, he always makes his request for brownies.
Today brings a full day of work and not much else. Will go home tonight and probably throw a load of laundry in. The one I should have done on Sunday or last night and I have been procrastinating. I hate doing laundry.
OK, so guess I'll get busy here now. Hope everyone has a great day.
