Happy Thursday all... can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. With all of these partys and avents you really have to stay focused on your tool and do the right thing, it is not always easy that is for sure. The temptation never goes away..

Well I'm getting ready for surgery on Monday. I will be going in to have varicose vein stripping in my right leg. I hope it will not be too painful as the week gets closer to Christmas. Then I will have to have the other leg done about 3 months later.. fun. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers please.. Lori W

Well nothing here for us except MORE PARTIES!  Doug's big part was yesterday, and today we have another one and then we have dinner tonight with friends up in Wrightwood.  I have to find some warm clothing.  We are having fun, Christmas shopping is done, house is decorated, and we are just going from one party to another.  We are going to be spending New Years eve out with friends this year instead of a cruise.  This is a lot cheaper.

Dougie is exhausted, and he thought retirement was a piece of cake.  I told him I haven't stopped for 7 years, when my back hit the worse part that was the first I had sat.  The man didn't get up till a little while ago, and I am just laughing because the official retirement is tomorrow.

Well I gotta run, more fun for today on tap.

Everyone have a great day and be safe.

Lori, I am interested in having my legs done, please let me know who it goes, I want to know about the pain and how it all turns out.  Wishing you luck on Monday.

Hi all,

Katt, I hope the Nyquil knocks you out. Sleeping is essential to feeling better.

My Thursday looks quiet. I don't have any meetings or events to attend. This means I'll have the time to walk down the street to hit a drug store and deli during my lunch break. Cool! Plus I am going to the gym afterwork. 2 days in a row now. I am beginning to feel like I have free time!

When I get home, I am hoping to finally clear away clutter so I can decorate the inside of my house for Christmas. We shall see if my energy matches my desires.

Take Care all! Happy Thursday.

Happy Thursday California!!!

My laptop is sick and its getting repaired so I've been MIA for a while. I can read the boards from my phone, but it's too difficult to respond. I'm glad that the holiday spirit is catching on and my heart really does go out to those who are sad at this time of year. I have those moments too when I think of my dad and brothers. My prayers are with you that you find some joy in the season.

Today I am scrambling to renew my passport ASAP because I'm leaving for Europe!!!! HOLY COW! I can't believe it. It was one of those really cool opportunites that was just perfect. I had the money, and the time...the package is super affordable. So I'm off to see 8 countries (and the Vatican too) in 18 days. I leave Christmas Day!

Has anyone else put up their tree yet??? Am I going to get to see them or not??!?!?

Tree is up, just no decorations on it yet.  Waiting for Joe to get them down from the attic (I am not allowed on a ladder - don't know why, he's more flippin accident prone than I am)  If I still don't have decorations by Saturday, I'm going to WalMart and buying new ones.  I want my stuff!!!!!
