It's Tuesday! ;-)

Good Morning Cali Crew,

I am sitting on my couch enjoying my morning coffee, while I watch the Today show. I am off to work in a few hours( I can't wait NOT). Today is an extra day, and it is only 8 hours, so it won't be to bad, but it is my first of 4 in a row. It seemed like a good idea when I signed up earlier this month. Oh well, the money will be nice. Not much else going on this week for me but work. I hope everyone has a great day and doesn't work to hard.

Good morning Lola and the Cali Crew!!

I am so glad this is a short week.  I so don't want to be at work right now.  Because of a mistake that was completely out of my control, I am losing my weekly bonus for I don't know how long.  This couldn't come at a worse time.  Christmas is here and my check is going to be short $50.  I know it doesn't seem like a lot but for me it is.  I don't make that much and I need every penny I can get.  I am so pissed.  I did everything I was supposed to do but because the accounting department for one of my customers put the wrong name on our check, I am being docked.  This is so stupid.  I hope the economy picks up next year and I can find another job.  I hate it here.  Your mistakes are blown up but your accomplisments are swept under the rug and never noticed.  Makes the work environment hard to be in. 

Thanks for letting me get this off my chest a little.  I am trying to stay away from the double stuffed oreos in the other room right now.  I will eat my nuts and cheese instead. 

Morning All! 

Yesterday was a busy one for me!  I worked 7 am - 3:30 pm then got off, went home and put together a nice smoked turkey dinner for the boys on the bridge.  Stuffing, smoked turkey, gravy and rolls.  Joe started the turkey and I cut it all up and hauled it all down there at 7pm.  In between all that cooking I cleaned out the puppy pen, fed the little beasties, played with them.  Ogre, the biggest of them all decided he didn't want to stay in the pen and made a break for it and showed all the rest of the kids how to get out.  I had puppies on the loose!  Roxy, our Yellow lab helped round them up and guarded the hallway and wouldn't let any of them down there.  I was rolling on the floor laughing so hard! (basically because this big ole bad-ass yellow dog is afraid of a bunch of little baby puppies!)

I also made 2 blankies last night.  An amazing yellow on one side and a bunch of dinosaurs on the other side.  It's awsome.  But my total favorite one is the one that is yellow tie-dye on one side and rubber duckies on the othe side.  WOW!  I want to keep this one!  But, it's for my step-daughter.  i have ONE MORE TO MAKE!!!!  This one is black on one side and white with black paw prints on the other side.  It's nice too. 

Today brings me work.  Then I have the blankie to make, puppy pen to clean and then I'll get started cleaning my house!!!!  Tomorrow brings me a trip to Costco and Food Max for food and prepping for the arrival of the kids.  I will have 15 people in my house for 2 days, then a few of them leave. 

I get off work on Thursday at 1:00 pm and don't have to return back to wor****il the 4th!  Yeah - a 10 day stay-cation!  I will get in a couple of days of skiing in that mess too!

Water going in, vitamins down the hatch and working on the protein.  Remember to move today and dance like nobody's watching!  Express yourself and enjoy!

I need a new blankie!! *hint hint* Something in black/pink with kitties or kittie paw prints would do the trick...   

Oh, I'll put you on the list, but my list is sooooooo long right now.  I have 9 babies to make blankies for and the little kids and babies always jump to the top of the list!  But, I'll put your request there on the list..............

Of course the babies and kidlets come first. I can wait patiently for a MoMo original blankie... =)

Good Morning,

I guess it's good...I woke this morning, with a back ache, a head ache, chills and sore throat.   I feel like crap.  My boss sent me home and fussed at me for coming into work and has told me to go home.

On the upside, Randolph gave me a tin full of cookies and thank me for being so nice.   I wanted to give him a hug, but did not want to make him sick.  I am going home in a few minutes.

Good Morning Cali Crew!

Hope everybody is staying warm. Wind is sure blowing hard up here in the high desert. Although the sun is shining and its clear. Burrrr!!!
Yesterday was an awesome day for me. I had a very important meeting with the state dept of rehabilitation. Looks like I will be moving up north for a bit (6-9 months), I will be attending school and training. I have to go up and tour the campuses. One campus is in San Pablo and the other is in Albany. So, l will be doing a trip up north probably in 2-3 months. I am really looking forward to starting this new phase in my life. I have to leave my family and friends but they will be there with me in spirit and backing me with their support. I am hoping to starting the program by summer time. Can anyone from Nor Cal give me any information about these two cities? Closest airport? Railway station? I have tried to google it, but I thought I would ask the Nor Cal Crew, too. I value your opinion, I hope everybody has a wonderful day.
