Good Marvelous Monday Morning!!

Good morning California!!!  Wow,the board has been quiet all weekend. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and weekend. I had a nice, quiet weekend. I am trying to finish up the slideshow of my BIL and his family so that Matthew can STFU about it and I can get them out to the family. So, what's on your agenda today?? Is it a 'back to work' Monday for you?

Good Morning Katt and Cali Friends,

You're right the board has been very quiet.  This is my last day off and then I return to work for 3 days and a 3 day weekend.  Can't beat that!

Yesterday the six of us went to see the movie, It's Complicated.  Hysterical and I recommend it if you want to laugh yourself silly.  All of us loved it.  Then we came home and had the last of the Christmas left overs.

Today, all 6 og us are headed to San Francisco and will see the King Tut exhibit which we've been anticpating for months.  Then we'll drop my Step Mom off at her house and head on home.

I hope whatever you are doing today is fun and relaxing.

Good Monday morning Katt and the Cali Crew!!

I am back to work this morning.  I almost didn't come in this morning because my daughter decided to give me a wonderful chest cold for Christmas.  I have been hacking and coughing since Saturday.  I feel horrible this morning.  I don't know if I will make it all day but I will give it my best shot.  Christmas was quiet for my family.  We just spent the day together watching movies all day.  I made a good breakfast and then we had some piszole soup for dinner.  It was a little spicy but good.  My oldest daughter's fiance is here on leave right now.  He is spending a few days with us before he has to go back to South Carolina.  He will be back in a couple of months but then he is leaving for a year and a half to Afghanistan.  My daughter is terrified that he will get hurt over there.  We just need to say our prayers for his safe return.  I think they will get married when he gets back.  That will be exciting .

Lu....I hope DD is doing better this morning.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am back to work...such as it is...pretty slow week, just waiting for month/year end so I can be swamped and stressed LOL  Spent Christmas holiday/days off at our 5th wheel east of Marysville but came home Saturday instead of Sunday...just too darn cold.  Lately, being cold all of the time seems to be my fate...no matter how many layers or blankets I use, I'm still cold and miserable :-(

New Years will bring us camping again..but this time different park and using the m/h...need to test out the new engine, new heater and water heater...be sure they work before we head to Washington in January.  Weather is playing games..first they predict rain then fog then rain.  It is pretty foggy today, no sun shining thru yet :-(  If it rains on Thursday like they predict, we may come home early again...I just want to be where there is HEAT! LOL

Lu, you and DD are in my prayers!  Hopefully, they caught the TIA early enough and there is no long-lasting effects. I hope the tests today give some answers for you...and I hope DD suffers no more complications.

Good morning California,

Back at work today for me.  But at least it is a short week.  Looking forward to New Year's Eve and going out to dinner and dancing and ringing in the new year with my honey and some of the best friends anyone could ever ask for.  I know we are going to have a great time.

It is especially slow here at work.  It's always slow around the holidays, but it seems even more so this year.  The days are just dragging by because I just don't have anything to do.  I will probably take an early lunch today and go out to see if I can find a new outfit for Thursday night.  I really don't have anything I can wear.  I'm hoping for a dressy pair of black slacks with a nice blouse.  But I'll see what I can find.  I don't want to spend alot of money that is for sure.  Christmas pretty much tapped me out.

Oh well, guess I'll go get another cup of coffee and watch the clock move.  Gosh I hope this day ends eventually.  Have a good one everyone.

Good Morning Katt & Cali Friends,

Well this Monday I am at work. I am just looking forward to see what the New Year has instore for me! I"m planning on spending the last couple of days of 2009 thinking about what has gone on in my life & what I need to work on. This has been a very tough year with lots of surprises, some of them were good ones and some were bad ones. But I guess that is life and I can handle anything that it throws my way!

I spent the weekend putting anything Christmas related away!!! I did get to spend a little time at the mall. It was nice getting those sales even though it meant putting up with more people.

Hope everyone has a great Monday! Just think....this is the last Monday of 2009!!!!

Good Morning all!  I am on vacation all this week and planning to spend it with my boys Joe and Jayden.  Joe has to work today tomorrow and Wednesday but then is off again.  Today brings a trip to the Turtle Bay Museum here in town to see the Lego exhibit.  I hear they have a T-Rex made totally out of legos!  How cool is that?  Jayden is a total Lego freak so he'll have a total blast.  Sometime this week we're also going to go see Alvin and the Chipmonks, Avitar, and Christmas Carol.

Puppies are growing big.  Getting braver in their quest outdoors and more adventuring. All the company has gone home, my tree is down and packed away for another year and my house is in order.  I have a couple of presents to ship (people who didn't show) and that's it.

I got a wonderful digital camera for Christmas from my honey.  It's heavy duty shock resistant and can take underwater pictures.  It's incredible!
