Need help on blenders

I love smoothies with protein, made with lots and lots of ice.  I am going throug blenders like no tomorrow.  Does anyone have a suggestion for a blender that will take my ice and make it look like a milkshake?  And last?  Thanks.

I have a Bullet blender and it works great for protein shakes.

Like Katt, I have the Bullet and it works the best.  I have a Cuisenart but the Bullet makes the protein shake more like a milk shake/smoothie.  Unfortunately, you can't spend $19.00 for one and have it last very long.  I know I went through about 4 before I bought the Bullet.  Good luck finding one that works for you.

my older Osterizer did a great job. i think the new ones are weaker, or maybe you have to buy the high end to get what used to be a regular blender
