So, New Year's Eve is this week...What are you planning to do? Stay home?....Party?...Spend time with family?
Sleep?

Anna's aunt is having a big bash New Year's Eve party.  We'll be there with tons of family and friends.  This week I'm downloading songs to add to my iPod to play during the night so we can dance the night away!!!! .....

Oh, and I plan to limit myself on alcohol and not get sick

So what's your plans?

We spend New Year's Eve with our friends.  It started with 6 people and has grown to about 22 people.  It takes all we've got to stay awake until mid-night anymore.  We have fun together.

We are going to a local restaurant for a buffet dinner with dancing.  It's up in the hills and overlooks the entire valley below so at midnight we should have a good clear view of all the gunfire in San Bernaghetto.  But we'll be there with friends and it should be a really nice evening.  As I don't plan on drinking, I will be the designated driver.  I have found I can have just as much fun sober as I can if I drink and frankly drinking often times makes me feel sick, so I'll gladly take on the task of driver.  The place is only about 10 minutes from our house so it's not too bad.

Bought myself a new outfit yesterday to wear so I'll look all purty.  Now the only difficult part of the evening will be getting Mike up to dance with me.  He's not real fond of the dancing.  But that's ok, cause we are going to be there with some wonderful friends and will enjoy the music just the same.  Then the rest of weekend will be spent relaxing.  Tax Season is here and I become a very grumpy person until April 15th so we need to make New Year's Eve as much fun as we can.

I am kind of playing it by ear.  I have this stupid cold right now so depending if I am better by Thrusday I will go out.  If not, I am staying close to home.  I will probably spend it with my kids.  Maybe get a good movie and some popcorn and beer and just stay put.  I live such an exciting life.  My church is doing something but I don't know if I will feel well enough for that either.  It is just a family night.  There will be games, video games, scrap booking and all kinds of food.  I am just not sure what I am going to do yet.
My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry; to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return.-- Maya Angelou

Our church is having New Years' Eve service until about 8:30. After that, I haven't a clue. I want to go out and have fun. I want to go our dancing. I want a New Years' kiss...lol We'll see what happens.

We have not done anything for NYE in many years.  We have a hard enough time staying up long enough.  So Gus, anytime you need a babysitter for NYE or any other type of holiday I am your go to person as we are usually home 99.9% of the time.  From La Puente to Lakewood is just a hop, skip & a jump.

My family and I will be going to brunch someplace on NYE as my daughter needs to work from 3-8.  She probably has plans after that.  My son and his GF have plans for sure as they love the party scene.  I usually get a call on NYE to come pick them up someplace unless they decide to utilize a taxi.

Hubby and I will try to figure out the schematic to assemble our home entertainment center the kids bought us for Christmas and watch movies.  A few drinks, movies and farming work for me on NYE.

Remember Gus, I am your go to person for babysitting and not very far away.
