“Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the buckle if necessary, or let down one, according to cir****tances; but on the first of January let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past."

Henry Ward Beecher

Happy New Years' Eve Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1.  This past year of good health and much happiness

2.  New friends I've made on OH and the fun times shared.

3.  All of the blessings God has given Ron and I this past year.

OK your turn, what are you thankful for today?

Morning Barb...I agree with Mr Beecher...January 1 should be a brand new beginning...everyone deserves a 'fresh page' ^_^

Today I am thankful for:

I'm outta here in 2 hours..heading for the foothills and away from all the crazies here in town.

All of the blessings that God has bestowed upon my family this year...new grandbaby, relationship reconciliations and growth, continued employment, and most importantly, my restored health and vitality

Happy New Year OH...party hardy and Safely...Designate a Driver!  Don't become a New Year statistic...we would miss you!

I am thankful for. . .

My family, they are wonderful.

Having the RNY and losing the weight I have lost so far.

For all the friends and support I have received here on OH.

For all the blessing God has given us this past year.  I truly am blessed in so many ways.

Have a safe and happy New Year!

Thanks for the Healthy Mojo Barb!!! I am sure it was that in addition to the Diabetic Tussin that helped me finally get some rest last night and feel a little better today!

I heard something fun this morning... that new year's wasn't for resolutions about losing, it was for resolutions about gaining... gaining new wonderful things in the new year... gaining a new you in the new year... a new outlook... a new whatever your heart desires... i really like that!

Gosh I am thankful for so much.

Thankful that I am finally on the mend from this stoopid cold...

For all the support and friendship of everyone here... and all the special beautiful wonderful folks in our NorCal group...

For Michael and my family for thier love, unwavering support and patience with me.... and for everyone's continued good health!

For Freedom... and Faith in God.

Wow... its been quite a year! AMAZING!  I wish you ALL all the very best in 2010!!!

Love and Hugs,

Hi all,

Barb, I like the quote. I tend to hold on to the past too much!

Today I am thankful for...

-Despite all the medical challenges for my mom and I, no worst case scenarios happened, we're still here and in better shape than when we started the year
-Losing enough weight to notice a difference and be inspired to do more
-Only having to work 4 hours today and not returning until the 4th
-Having a job
-being in a great relationship with my husband
-having family to spend the holidays with
-my cute and charming kitties
