Yes, it is back to work today for me and new school for Ms V. She is so excited and has her lunch bag a backpack all ready by the door. I have been off for over tow weeks so let's see what exploded while I was gone. Most of my staff was off as well so hopefully it is not too bad!
This is going to be a great year!
We are here in Port Orchard, Wa enjoying the last day of our trip to my sisters. We come home tomorrow and I am ready. I love the rain but have had enough at this point. It is beautiful here, very quiet and peaceful.
Wishing everyone a great 2010 and start to your work week. I go back next Monday.
Monica

Off I go..........2010 files to set up. Have fun!
Two weeks until puppies go to new homes. I have 3 unclaimed yet but they'll go soon enough! Craigslist posting here I come!
Good Monday Morning Barb and the rest of Cail....
Well it is back to work today. No more holidays for me until April 16th. We get the day after tax season off. We won't get busy here really until February, but there are still lots of things to do prior to the onslaught. Plus I need to get on all my corporate clients to get their year end in because Corporate tax returns are due March 15. You'd think the IRS could somehow work out these deadline dates better. Too many things due at the same time.
We had a nice New Year's weekend. Yesterday I did absolutely nothing but be a slug and it felt pretty darn nice. I took a very long nap in the afternoon and it was fabulous.
Oh well, guess I'll go get some more coffee and start sending out emails to my corps to get on the ball and get everything to me. Hope everyone has a terrific day.

Good Morning Barb, and Cali Crew,
I hope everyone is enjoying there day back at work. I should be at work too, but I am still sick. With all the coughing I have been doing, I should have a six pack by now. Honestly I would rather be at work then feeling like this. I have been a slug on the couch since Friday. I am sure I will be doing more of that today. Have a great week, stay safe and healthy. Time for my coffee and the Today show.
Hugs Eileen
I am back at work this morning but I would rather be at home. I am still sick. I've been since sick since last week. I spent the long weekend in bed. I did go to store and that was about it. I was late this morning because I just can't sleep at night because of the coughing. I've tried Nyquil and a couple of other things but nothing really works. Using vicks last night helped some but I think the longest I slept at one time was about 3 hours. It is hard to get well when I can't get enough sleep. I am going to trudge through this week and hopefully this cold will go away.
Have a great week everyone. Don't work too hard.
I had a wonderful weekend with friends and family. I rang in the New Year with old aquaintences, that are starting new chapters in our lives. Friday and Saturday were also very nice days. Yesterday I took advantage of Free San Bernardino County Museum Day (held the 1st Sunday of every month), most counties have these free days. Next I want to go to Natural Museum of History, they have a free day too. I met up with some high school friends, some I hadn't seen since high school. They couldn't believe how much weight I lost. It felt good. Then went to go to my sister's to help. 2 of my sisters and their families are moving, so I got my exercise in, too. I got home about 8:30 last night and crashed!
Today brings running errands and paying bills and grocery shopping. So more walking! Hubby won't like it, as I plan to make really good choices in food and that entails a lot of label reading.
I hope everybody has as good a monday as can be had after a long weekend. Just remember Friday is only 4 days away!! YAY!!
Huge Hugs,
Michelle T.
