Thank you so much, Elizabeth! You are such a sweetheart! The baby is my great neice, Audrey. She is doing so much better now. We are looking forward to her baptism next month.I hope all is well with you. I tend to stay away from the main board, too. They scare me on there. So I come here, to what I consider my home or I go visit the RNY board, most of which are also my friends on facebook too.

Oh I am so glad she is doing so much better!  It is so hard to see little ones be so sick!  I know you will enjoy her baptism.  When my grand daughter was baptized we were the only one that week.  They did a special one because of that.  It was really nice.  When Ryan was baptized they had about 8 babies, but it was still special!  When Ryan was baptized, that was the first one we had been to.  I was raised Southern Baptist and they don't do that, so it was really neat for us.

Baptisms are special. I was a cradle Catholic, and a huge majority of my family still is, but I chose to become a Christian. I was baptized by total immersion when I was 26. It was a very special moment for me, as this time I made the decision. Out of respect for my mom, she will occasionally ask me to attend church with her. I figure Our Lord is everywhere. No disrespect intended, but do Southern Baptist baptize at all? I am intregued by other religions and am always wanting to learn more. I don't want to appear uninformed or insensitive.

Well today is day two of life with a cast. UGH!!! I do not like this all. It hurts and I feel like dork on drugs trying to move around. I told DD today, as long as I am in the house, I am not going to use them dang cruchies. I will walk softly on it. LOL

I done nothing yesterday and plan the some today. Oh joy. You sometimes you plan a do nothing day and its great, but this forced do nothing sucks. I would rather do nothing on my own trems.

I will say, DD has really stepped up and help when and where she could. Getting my water, or something to eat or anything small that i need. She says, I have done everything for her for the past year, its the most she can do.....

Ok today is day one on the 5 day pouch test. So all protein drinking for me and of course tons of water....I wish all that are riding the train with me the best of luck.

Good morning everyone.  We had a good weekend.  My friends husbands birthday was yesterday so last evening we went to their house and had a little party for him.  It was nice to be with friends.  Tillie told me she did not understand how I could not partake of the cake and ice cream and that she just didn't think she could do that even with the surgery.  I told her, it was easy I just had to choose between feeling good and being sick and since I don't enjoy throwing up the choice was very easy. 

I got beat up pretty badly on the main board yesterday.  They have some very mean people on that board.  I deleted the board off my main page and put the Cali board on it so now when I open up I see all of your smiling faces.  Now I won't be tempted to put in my 2 cents worth there. I get everything I need right here. I really do appreciate all of you!  If it weren't for the Cali board I would have stopped using OH a long time ago! 

I am going to buy some of those new sketchers today.  I talked to a lady last night *****ally likes hers.  My friend bought some today.  They are on sale at Kohl's.

Hi Elizabeth are talking about the walkers (Shape Ups)? I love mine.  They take a little getting used to but but are great for your legs and butt!  So glad you are going to try and make it to the Nor Cal lunch! Can't wait to meet you!

Yes those are the ones.  I got the black leather ones.  I just have a thing about leather uppers.  They stay nicer longer.  Do you wear yours a lot or just when you are out for a walk?  I feel like I am 10 feet tall in them! LOL  Another woman was looking at them and asked me how they felt when I tried them on and I told her I was afraid I might get a nose bleed because I was so tall!  They felt great though.  I figure I will wear them some each day until I get used to them.  Your new avatar is great too!  I am really going to try to make the Nor Cal luch, there are so many people I would love to meet, including you!  I map quested it today.  It looks pretty easy to get to.

Well all good things come to an end and my Fakacation ended today and my week started with a bang.  It was a challenging day but I got through it with a little help from my friends.  :-) 
My last four days were amazing and I had such a great mini vacation.  This year has started off better than I could have expected so today was tough with one set back after another. 

Oh well, tomorrow is a new day!  Yippeeeeeeeee
