Hi Katrina,

I believe my surgery date was set around 3 months ahead of time. Partly my decision so I'd have it during a slow time at work and partly the ability of the surgeon's schedule. I think having 2.5 months before surgery to really understand everything you're about to do and to practice your new way of life will make post-surgery life easier. In my time of waiting, I read any book I could find on WLS and focused a lot of biographies from people who were at least a few years out from their WLS. That has helped me a lot in the past 7 months. I also took the time to post lots of questions to this board.

Hang in there! This time will go fast.  There are somedays I wonder what the heck I did to myself and other days I am thrilled with being 92 pounds lighter.

Take Care!

(((hugs everyone)))

You are all very very right. I have read almost all of the bios on the active people here. And the VSG board but I do love information. I will read and find out more.

Barb OMG your so right. I swear we just had Halloween LOL it will go by fast, but as for anyone waiting not fast enough.

Nathalie keep me posted I cant wait to hear more about your WLS. My next door neighbor just had her RNY yesterday at PB.

God bless our troops
