Good Morning Calif.......

I am up and getting ready for work. Yap you are seeing that right. My boss promises me she will have something for me to do, keeping within the rules set by my doctor. I am so very happy. LOL Other wise the doctor would have me off wor****il 2/22/10 OMG.  I would go nuts.

So I have not been on line much, so I don't know whats going on really. So if you have the time, take a few second to tell me what you have been up to.

Ok my coffee is done, so I guess that means I need to get moving. I wish you all a great day. Be good to yourself and enjoy life..

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Congrats on going back to work, I know exactly how you feel being home when you're used to working.  Please don't overdo it though and follow your Drs orders to avoid any type of set back with the healing process.

Not much going on with me.  I am planning an Employee Benefits Fair tomorrow at work so I have been up to my eyeballs in work to prepare for that.  I will be SO happy when it's over.

That's about all that's going on here, gotta get ready to go in and get ready for tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Hugs,
Barb

Hi Lu and Cali,

I know what you mean about being home!!  I was off twice for 3 months could not sue my right hand (yikes).  I thought I would off myself before it was over!!!

Today is more of the same, work - clean -cook.  Getting ready for Ms V's b-day tomorrow.  House is looking much better and decided to make mac n cheese, meat balls, green salad, garlic bread and a few munchies.  all things she love (except the salad that is for mommy!).

I am taking cookies to her school to celebrate with her classmates tomorrow.  Found some adorable red Velvet cookies (shaped in a heart)at the store (very she she).

Everyone have a great day and be careful it is raining like crazy here!

Good morning Lu and everyone else,

Glad you are being allowed a bit more mobility but I know you.  Don't take that as a license to "run".  Just take it easy or you'll be back at home.

As for me, I am home sick.  I'm so aggrevated. I've been fighting this for weeks it seems with on and off cold symptoms until last night when bam.  I went down hill so quickly.  Fever, chills, coughing.  It's truly Yuck and hopefully one day home in bed will be enough.  I'm not too upset because we are actually without computers.  Yesterday and today our computers are down for rebuilding.  We realized there was no way we could make it through tax season not knowing from one day to the next whether we would be up and running.  So I suppose if I had to get sick this was a good time to do it.

OK, I hear my bed calling me.  Time to go curl up with my blankie and go back to sleep.  Everyone have a great day.

Feel beter Steph...the cold going around right now is a harsh one. I got it right before Thanksgiving and the cough lasted until about a week ago. Rest well and drink lots of fluids. x0x0x0

Good Morning Lu and Cali Crew!!

Lu, please, please, please do not overdo it. Sit on the chair they give you and do your work. You do not want to be in that cast any longer than neccessary. Or even face the possibility of surgery. I'm just saying. I know you already know all of that. I totally understand about the house driving you crazy. Because it does the same to me, I can not wait to get out of here and return to school, but because it is monitored by the Dept of Rehab, and its the State.... well, it seems to take eons before they get through all the red tape.
I hope everybody had a fabulous weekend and Monday. I hadn't been on in a while, due to a flare up of my Multiple Sclerosis.... I lived. LOL.... the pain did take me out for a couple of days, but I am ok, now. Just some residual pain, which I take as normal. I really, really dislike taking anything for my pain, but on thursday it was so bad I had to put a fentynol patch (which is stonger than morphine), and take 2 Norco pills! That still hardly touched it, thought for sure my next move was going to be the ER, when I do there they usually keep me for a week or so. I didn't want that. I hadn't had a flare up in about 1 1/2 years, so it was pre-surgery. So when the doc prescribed the meds, in the same dose as pre-surgery, I was afraid. But I guess it worked.
Yesterday was a very busy day of laundry and going to visit one of my sister's in her new house in Glendora. Very nice. Today brings some food shopping. I don't mind it so much, its the putting away! LOL....
Hope everybody has a wonderful Tuesday. I will keep everybody that is sick, or facing hurdles in their lives in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck to those who have consultations coming up and congratulations to those that have just had their surgeries! Whoo-hoo!! Hold on for one awesome ride!
Huge Hugs,
Michelle

Good Morning,

Lu- take it easy at work.  I understand about going stir crazy at home.

Cali-not much going on with me. Last night, after support group, I went to a Wal-mart Super-center.  OMG!  I did not want to come out of the store..  But I had to because the store was closing.  While I was there I found some of my favorite soy milk (8Th Continent - Vanilla).  I had to get 2 half gallons.  To me, this brand tastes better than Silk Soy.

Tonight, after work, I will be attending a training seminar for participants of the L.A. Marathon at Top to Top in Santa Monica.  While I am out that way, I will purchase some Goo from REI.

Oh, well, time to get some coffee.

More Love & Peace,

Kimmie

Good Morning Lu, and Cali Peeps,

Lu I hope your day at work goes well, and you don't do more then you should. I had a dentist appointment this morning, to have a tooth filled. I hate having that done, now I am just waiting for my face to thaw out, so I can have a coffee. I tried drinking some water but drooled it down my front. Today is my last of 5 days off. I am back to work for the next 3. I can't wait NOT. Tonight is my photography class. I am very excited about that. It will be nice to really know how to use my camera and take better pictures. Not much else going on around here. The sun is peaking out of the clouds right now. Kind of nice he could show his face for a few minutes. I hope you all have a fantastic day.

Hugs Eileen

OH My!!!  the SUN just broke thru the clouds!!!  I haven't seen the SUN since before Christmas!! Been socked in with fog for 3 weeks!!  Well, my day certainly just got BETTER!  No more griping...I know we need the rain, and it did rain here last nite...but, oh how uplifting to see the sun shine! ^_^
