Dear Melissa,
The earthquake in Haiti is a reminder of just how fragile our world is. In response to the devastation that affected so many, we are partnering once again with Soles4Souls to lend a helping hand.
Starting today, all 55 of our stores will be accepting gently worn men's, women's & kids' shoes until Sunday, January 31st.
All the shoes collected will be sent directly to Soles4Souls for distribution to the Haitian people.
Perhaps you can organize a local shoe drive in your community and bring them in. During our last shoe drive, one young man actually went door-to-door in his neighborhood asking for gently worn shoes.
Many of us live with the threat of an earthquake every day, so it's only a natural response to want to do something to help. Please stop by and drop off one, two or even three pairs of shoes and help someone in need today.
Thank you so much.   Craig Levra President & CEO, Sport Chalet Click below to find a store location near you.

I have spent the last 3 days cleaning out closets in my house...and under beds...and in boxes here and there...I think I probably have 30 pairs of ladies shoes I will happily take to the shoe drive, instead of the thrft store.  Most of the shoes are considered sensible, but not athletic shoes...will they still be of use?
What a wonderful action..God Bless the studio...

I delivered 22 pairs of shoes to our local Sports Chalet yesterday.  I think there is going to be a great response for the needs of Haiti.  It is painful to watch Haiti's's demise due to the medical and political tangles going on.  Sad that it is still going to get worse before it gets better...but, the citizens of the world do care...and we continue to pray and do what we can in our own way. God Bless the doctors, medical personel, search teams and volunteers in every genre.
